THIRD PERSON

Clea's lips formed a thin line while everyone awaited the Judex. The trial won't start without him, for he is the judge. However, he's thirty minutes late. As the Judex, Caelus Lamborne was known for his exceptional professionalism. He is always formal and arrives twenty minutes earlier than the meeting time. He was always on time in the trials he attended. 

The whole Court of Justice looks like an opera house. There was a huge stage where the plaintiff and defendant were seated face to face. Between them was a seat reserved for the judex, and in front of them were ascending seats where listeners could gather to listen for the trial. 

Clea glanced at the massive statue behind the Judex's seat. It was a statue of a man holding a sword. It was not an ordinary sword because its blade represented a balance scale's pillar. Its left and right sides had two rings of the pan holder with its cross guard (part of a sword) as a base. 

Her eyes then landed on the plaintiff who sued her. No other than Landon Orestilla, the nasty old man who tried to exploit her. Beside him was his lawyer, who seemed busy reviewing his case. The old prick looked at her with confidence as if he was so sure that she would lose her face and end up behind bars. 

"How can she defend herself if she had no lawyer?" One of the people in the crowd whispered while gossiping with her husband. Worry was in her eyes as she looked at the poor saintess sitting alone. 

"Where is the Judex? This is the first time he was late in a trial." A lady commented as she closed her fan. 

"Wala akong pakialam kung sino ang isasakdal ngayong araw. I only came here to gaze at the Judex. Hindi makokompleto ang araw ko nang hindi siya nakikita." A woman dreamily murmured while looking at the empty seat of the judge. 

"Huwag ka na umasa. Haven't you heard that he's a woman hater? It was all thanks to his mom who abandoned him!" Apila pa ng kasama nito habang nakangiwi. 

Clea impatiently tapped her fingers on the table. Iginala niya ang kanyang mga mata sa nanonood at nakita niya roon si Levine at Carnel. Rumolyo naman ang mga mata niya nang mahagip ng paningin niya si Dominique. Inirapan niya lang ito. She can recognize some of the faces inside the court, but most of them are nobilities from different families. 

Wow, ang dami ko namang fans she thought to herself. It's good that every noble family in the empire has a representative to attend her trial. She can give them a remarkable show they will never forget. Hopefully, they'll get traumatized by it. 

"The Judex has arrived!" Everyone in the crowd stood up as a sign of respect. Tumayo na rin si Clea at ang konde. 

Halos hindi makapigil sa pag-irit ang mga babaeng nadadaanan ng punong judisyal. The judge looked exceptionably neat and handsome today. He wore a black long-sleeved suit and a silver corset vest that was slightly too tight around his well-built body. Clea couldn't help but stare at him in utter amusement. 

It was her first time seeing a man in a full corset vest, and damn, he looks so sexy! Hubog na hubog ang katawan nito at hindi maitatanggi ang pagmamalaki ng maskulado niyang braso at ang maubok nitong pwetan na bumabakat sa may kasikipan nitong salawa (trousers). 

Tender juicy ang muscles, mga mhie! How about the hotdog naman? Clea ridiculously thought to herself. 

"Be seated." Awtomatikong umupo ang mga ito while Clea was busy looking at the Judex' butt that appears to be a perfect apple shape in her eyes. 

God, I wanted to slap them! 

"Will the defendant please rise?" He commanded as soon as he sat on his throne-like seat. Taas noo namang tumayo ang santa.
