As the game wore on, it was Jay's turn to take center stage. He had barely settled when Kevin's voice sliced through the chatter. "Jay, who's the hottest girl here?" Kevin asked, his tone casual, but his eyes gleamed with challenges.

The group grew silent, waiting for Jay's answer. "Uh, Sierra," he finally said, laughing awkwardly. He tried to shrug it off, but Selene was already grinning, her eyes dark with mischief.

Kevin leaned forward, voice sharp. "Alright then, Jay, I dare you to kiss Sierra. Right now."

Jay stood up with a cocky grin, making his way over to Sierra, who blushed but didn't protest. He grabbed her chin and kissed her quickly, earning wild cheers and whistles from the group. Rachel, disgusted, wrinkled her nose. "Gross," she muttered, but Jay didn't care. He plopped back into his seat with a wink, and Sierra turned scarlet.

The laughter and cheers from Jay's earlier dare had faded into uncomfortable silence, and everyone sensed it. The shift began with a single glance from Selene-sharp, predatory-as she eyed Celestie with a gleam of something malicious.

Skylar Stone, always one for stirring the pot, leaned forward and announced, "New rule: after Jay, no more picking just truth or dare. Everyone has to do both." Her eyes sparkled with mischief as she looked around the circle, her gaze eventually settling on Celestie. Selene, lounging comfortably beside Kevin, smirked at Skylar's proposal, and I could already tell they had something planned. Something nasty.

Celestie shifted uncomfortably, a faint frown tugging at her lips, and I had a sinking feeling this wasn't going to end well. I glanced at Kevin, who sat silently beside Selene, looking tense, his body language closed off. He noticed me looking and briefly met my gaze before looking away, jaw clenched. It wasn't like Kevin to get rattled so easily, but something was off tonight.

Skylar's voice rang out again, playful but dangerous. "Alright, Celestie, you're up. Truth first. Since we're playing a no-holds-barred version of the game, why don't you tell us what it's really like to be best friends with your boyfriend's ex?"
