Okay, while I'm still in the process of writing the next chapter, I felt like I should add a few more info regarding the world that wasn't present in the General Info part.

Were creatures: Basically, there are other Were creatures in this verse. We've already met Itsuka, who's a werewolf. Later on, we'll be seeing werebears, Werelynxes,  and weretigers. All of them have superhuman physical abilities, with weretigers being (individually) the most powerful type. Itsuka's POV brought up one downside of being one of these creatures: a significantly shorter lifespan. They don't age the same way or rate though. Itsuka already mentioned how it is for werewolves. Weretigers, they're physically at their peak up 'til they're 22, but their bodies start shutting down from there, which usually kills them by 23. Werebears can live up to their 30s. Werelynx would turn grey by 40 but will have 4-5 more years before life claims them.

Yokai: they are a class of entities and spirits in Japan. From living sandals to lake creatures who'd drink your brain from a straw. I'll try to include some of them since the AU is set in Japan.

Elsewhere: This is the magical world equivalent of LOM. Monsters, Daemons, and Gods spend most of their time here. The geography of Elsewhere matches our Earth's ~50 or so thousands of years ago. People go through and from it using magical portals or stone circles like Stonehenge. This is where Izuku was training most of the time, if he can't use the Itsuka's dojo.

Hunters (not to be confused with The Hunter who fathered the God Kings): Specialized units by the government that hunt critters from Elsewhere that managed to find themselves in our world.

Paladins: Evokers not associated with any factions of The Elsewhere or The Mundane World. They do not answer to any God or Monarchs. Their only concern is the preservation of Humanity and Life.

Izuku Abilities

Izuku's magical manifestations, his cards, are because of his mind making sense of the chaotic nature of magic. Like Itsuka said, it differs from person to person. What hand he'll get can be random. These are the rankings:

On top of that, Izuku can channel magic through the gems that Itsuka gave him and most other he bought

On top of that, Izuku can channel magic through the gems that Itsuka gave him and most other he bought. What these gems do is take his magic and help him manifest the attack to his opponent and each higher tier gem needs more power to use them. These correspond to different suits of cards he has. A talented Healer can maybe use a Tier 1 or 2 gemstone but is unlikely to be able to use a Tier 4 gem no matter what. Evokers' magics are highly inefficient, but they generally don't care.

He doesn't have True Gems yet, which are Tier 9, and it will be useful when we start riding the power curve way up. Right now, he's still on the lower end of the totem pole in LOM verse, but could pretty much take on top heroes without issues, with All Might being the exception (for now).

As of right now, he can use Lightning, Fire, Ice, Poison, Force (pure kinetic energy), and Shields. He can also use Rage gems, which significantly increase his power output, at the cost of mental stability, but he's still not in the right mindset to use them.

That's it for now. I think I explained the things that were brought up in earlier chapters. Let me know if you have questions. I'll go back to writing the next chapter. Thanks for reading!
