What exactly does that guy thinks of himself ? As if he's some sorta king or so. These days are full of generalistic narcissists. First of all they try to kill you then don't even apologize. And then behave as if the victim is in a fault.

Already I'm late. I don't think boss is gonna spare me today. It's my 5th time coming late to work after joining recently. I graduated last year from uni, majoring in Event management. I got two or three job offers back in Delhi but my dad wanted me to come back to udaipur. So I did. I love my dad so much; but I wished I didn't joined Exquisite Events', they are freaking strict about the rules and regulations concerning work. They maintain a good eye at workers punctuality, their progress, sincerity and their enthusiasm in any work opportunity. Last week, one of my colleagues got suspended for coming late, sixth time the month.
Besides, it's not my fault, who doesn't like to sleep in their soft cozy bed in this world. I just like it a bit too much that once I get comfy in there I can't get out. Especially not 7 in the Morning to go for work.

I get out of the elevator and rush to my seat hoping I won't get a call from Mrs. Awasthi, our boss.

She's quite an impressive lady, beautiful, natural, determined and a single mother to a child. She tries her best to provide everything her child needs: a father. Mrs Awasthi got married to Mr Awasthi about 5 years ago, they have a 3 years old girl. We call her rini, she's so cute with her round face and doe eyes and her little palms. It was going good just like its supposed to be; but Mr Awasthi left for a business trip and never came back, the plane crashed. Crashing mrs Awasthi's soul, she was devastated but soon collected herself and took charge of all things. She has to take care of her responsibility and her work making her strict than before. She runs the family by herself and I respect her so much.

I really don't want to cause her any trouble, but I just can't seem to open my eyes in the morning.

I hide my face when my colleague Neha pokes me, she has the perfect cunning grin plastered on her face,"Someone's late the 5th time in a month huh? If you keep doing this the next employee being suspended will be you trisha."

"Shut up! Do you want me to die or what? I hope Mrs Awasthi doesn't call upon me."

"You're safe atleast for today, mrs Awasthi's busy arranging teams. I overheard her talking about arranging planners for a mega event." She winks at me while I feel a bit relieved.

"A mega event?"

"Yup, you know the ones arranged for an award function or grand release of products. I think it's something similar to that." She said to me while spinning her pen.

"Its pretty good, isn't it? She's always so stressed, atleast she won't have to worry about finances." She smiles at my words.

"Let's finish up the work for today and go shopping for rini's birthday!"

"Yeah" I reply and get back to work.

It's Saturday and I'm back home, during work days I stay at an apartment near office, so that it's easier for me to reach in time. Every weekend either my parents come over to apartment or I head back home directly after friday work.

My mom places a cup of warm tea infront of me as I yawn.

"Stop yawning. It's 11'o clock." She said while making a typical Indian mom face at me.

"Trishu, how's your work?" My dad asks me before mom can lecture me anymore. A laugh bubbles up my throat but some how I swallow it.
