With that, Luz travelled to Blight Manor on Eda's owl staff. When she got to the doorway, she saw that Hunter was already standing and was waiting to go.
"Are you ready?" The Latina girl asked.
"Yeah!" Hunter replied, grinning.
Luz took hold of the owl staff and got onto it. Hunter then got Flapjack to turn staff mode and the two flew back to the owl house.
When they got inside, Eda had already gotten out the portal and was ready to go. Hunter took hold of Luz's hand and with a deep breath, they stepped through.
"Wow!" The blonde haired boy said he and the latina girl walked out of the abandoned cottage in the woods and looked around.
Once they were out of the forest clearing, Vee was already stood waiting for them, behind her was a black van.
"What's that van behind you?" Luz said in a concerned tone.
"Oh that, I told Masha that we were going out and they offered to drive us their!" Vee explained.
"Since when do 15 year old already know how to drive and have a vehicle?" Luz asked.
"I don't know, but Masha always steals Jacob's van and they are the best driver I know so, hop in!" Vee replied.
The van door opened. Luz decided to get in first, then Hunter and then Vee. As Masha began to drive, they began chatting with Luz instantly with Vee and Hunter left in an uncomfortable silence.
Both of them recognise each other instantly from when Hunter was the Golden Guard and Vee was a slave. Because they had that falling out, they didn't actually have much to say to each other.
But in no time at all, the van finally arrived.
"We're here! Also I hope you don't mind but I decided to drop you off at Starbucks," Masha said.
"No need to worry, that's where I planned to go anyway!" Luz replied.
The three unstamped themselves and waved goodbye to Masha before hopping out of the van. Vee was pretty chill because she goes to Starbucks quite often, Luz felt happy because she hadn't been to one in a while, and Hunter had no idea what was going on.
The three of them walked inside and the experts began to explain.
"So basically, Starbucks is a shop where you can gets coffees, iced teas and all that kind of stuff!" Luz said.
"And coffee is this really nice drink that has caffeine in it, which makes it very difficult to sleep," Vee added.
"Okay cool, could one of you order for me because I have no idea what to do or say?" Hunter asked.
"Yeah sure, I'm an expert at this!" Vee said, putting her hands on her hips with pride.
After that, she walked up to the counter and began to order.
"Hi, I would like a pumpkin spice latte please!" Vee said.
"Sure, is there anything else you would like?" The barista asked.
Luz then stepped beside her sister, leaving Hunter behind them.
"I would like to add to that order with a caramel waffle latte please!" Luz added.
She then turned around and dragged Hunter to join them as well.
"What do you want Hunter?" Luz asked, pointing up at the screens with possible options on them.
Hunter found the whole situation very stressful but then he remembered something from the back of his mind...
"I'll have the Neapolitan cappuccino, More cappa than chino. Make sure it's got no more than 4oz of milk, The beans won't have the right texture otherwise. And make sure they spell my name correctly on the cup. They always put Lunter or Gunter, I hate that. if you can't handle that, I'll have a Venti Traditional Misto. Please use soy milk with two blonde shots, adffogato and Ristretto. I'd also love three vanilla pumps at the very bottom. Then add the coffee after!" Hunter explained.
"Wow," The barista mouth looked really shocked, and then said, "You must watch a lot of Helluva Boss, anyways I will get to making your order quickly."
As the barista began making the drinks, Luz and Vee looked really suprised too.
"Woah Hunter... I had no idea that you watched Helluva Boss, or that you even had enough brain cells to remember Moxxie's whole order?!" Luz said.
"Yeah, I guess I do!" Hunter said, chuckling a little.
After that, the barista was finished making the drinks and handed them back. Hunter checked the name on his drink, and was suprised to see that "Moxxie" was written on it rather than Hunter.
The three exited the shop and began sipping at their drinks, or at least Luz and Vee did. Hunter had already downed it.
"Why have you just drinker it so quickly?" Vee asked, her voice full of concern.
Hunter couldn't even hear what the basilisk in disguise was saying, because he was in his own world now. And with that, he ran away and back through the portal...
