Erica and Memo decided to be the designated drivers. Everyone was conducting themselves in a calm manner, even Regina, who usually drank a bit too much.

Isaiah reserved a private lounge while Tomas headed for the bar to buy bottles and a round of drinks for everyone. The girls didn't wait, heading for the dance floor that was almost empty since it was still a bit early. A catchy hip-hop tune, colorful dancing lights, and artificial fog filled the ambience.

The guys stood around the lounge, glancing around the place while they drank.

Memo stood close to his brother, pushing his shoulder to call his attention. "Thank you for ruining everything." He called him out loudly.

Isaiah and Jose alert themselves, waiting for a fight to break down.

In the past, Tomas and Omar were the ones that had physically fought a couple of times, but Memo was not exempt from his brother's wrath.

If it hadn't been for Mrs. Lucia's interference, both could have ended with purple eyes more than once.

"Your girlfriend asked for it. You should teach her to be more empathetic." Tomas answered, to then take a sip of his whiskey, with no remorse.

"Don't worry, I will, idiot!" Followed Memo, not moving his lips. "Because my girlfriend will be your sister-in-law soon."

Tomas took some time to digest his brother's answer. He buffed a scoffed sigh.

She already is my sister-in-law. He thought.

It wasn't until Isaiah and Jose got closer to Memo, patting his back and shaking his hand excitedly, that he understood why his brother had been bothered. He had definitely messed everything up.

"Wait. Are you serious? Dude, you still have a chance. Let's go. I'll make something up in a minute." Exclaimed Tomas, leaving his glass on the center of the table. He reached his brother, holding both of his shoulders.

Memo just shook his head. "I wanted to do it outside of Landry's, by the bay with everyone present. But the moment doesn't feel right anymore." He explained, as he broke loose from his brother's hold, harshly. "I'll just do it another time, when we are alone."

Before Tomas could convince him, the girls surround the lounge, looking for something to drink.

"Let's dance, bitter butts!" Said Regina, still jumping in place.

She started pulling Jose and Tomas to the dance floor. Jose followed without complain, but Tomas made a face, dragging his head.

While the three are dancing, Erica stood in front of Memo, caging him in her arms. He gave her a sweet kiss on her lips. He was glad she was feeling better.

Emma and Isaiah only stare at the dancers while they drink in silence. The dance floor was filling up, now that the club was almost to capacity. The DJ started playing some 2000s hip hop hits mixed with reggaeton.

Regina danced between Jose to her back and Tomas to her front. Tomas had forgotten how beautiful his friend was, but here up close, it was impossible to ignore. Regina's porcelain skin glowed in the dark, and her striking body was the envy of many girls surrounding them. She shook her hips from side to side, rubbing her back to Jose noticeably.

Tomas's hands were on her hips, but his eyes were looking for Emma. He left his friends in the dance floor as he witnessed Jose whispering something to Regina, making her blush.

While Tomas made his way to the bar, he saw that Isaiah was pulling Emma's hand, walking to the floor. They both started dancing next to their friends. Isaiah said something to Emma that made her laugh out loud.
