Lucille spun around in her little blue dress, it went down to her knees and had a cardigan over her shoulders. A small purse in her hands, her father would be working late, which meant, she'd just be with Soda.

She had to admit that she was excited for her not a date with Soda. She hadn't had a good 'not a date' in a long time. Usually dates with Dally, weren't even dates, they were hangouts with Johnny. Or love making up in his room at Bucks place, or going to eat without paying.

So now, that she had been asked properly, not spontaneously rushed out of her home because Dally wanted company. The girl applied, a light layer of gloss when there was a knock at the door.

Immediately, she straightened up, spraying some perfume before rushing to her door. She fixed her skirt before opening up the door, "Soda." She greeted, a nervous smile on her face as the boy looked her over with wide eyes. "Wow."

A blush painted her face as Soda mentally slapped himself, shaking his head as he held out a bouquet of flowers. Lucille took them gratefully, "You look great." Soda finally spoke, Lucille laughed slightly, "Thank you, and thanks for the flowers. I haven't gotten any in a long while."

"A lady always needs to be given flowers." Soda replied gently, Lucille hummed, setting them down on the table. Making a mental note to put them in water later, she shut the door to her house. Soda raised a brow seeing her not locking the door, silently questioning her as the pair walked together in the dark.

"You don't lock the door?" Lucille glanced over at him before shaking her head, "I.. I leave it for Johnny.. you know, just in case." Soda frowned at that, the two missing boys had upset everyone in the gang. No one really asked Lucille how she felt, and she was arguably one of the closest to the boys.

"They'll come back.. and I'm 1000% sure that Dal knows where they are. He wouldn't let anything happen to them." Lucille nodded her head in response before letting out a breath, "I know, he wouldn't. Dally loves Johnny more than anything else."

Soda huffed in response, "Maybe not more than you." She glanced over at him in disbelief, a laugh escaping her lips, "You don't think it's true?"

"I know it ain't true." Lucille retaliated, pocking at Soda who held back a smile at her actions. "Enough about that ex of mine. Okay? If you bring up Dal again, then I'll bring up your ex."

Soda let out a huff of distaste, Lucille nodded her head firmly, "That's what I thought." Soda took her arm, pulling her closer to him as they headed down a main road. "Do you remember the day we first met?"

Lucille glanced over at Soda, laying her head against his arm as they walked, "Of course, I do.  It was such an eventful day." She laughed at the memory of her arguing with Steve and Dally, "Why?"

"I just think about it from time to time. Pony and I trying to convince the boys to leave you alone before they went up to you. I wonder what would have happened if I had stopped them..." Soda breathed out as the diner began to illuminate their faces.
