Audrey's pov

My doorbell rang, and I grinned as I knew my food had arrived.

Getting off my sofa, I rushed to the kitchen.

A very beautiful blonde woman with light freckles grinned at me so hard, I swear I saw her eye twitch.

"Uhm, hi?" I said.

She tried to let herself in, but my swift moves stopped her from entering my safe space.

"Oh my gosh, you don't know me?" She asked nervously, then looked around, still grinning hard.

Ok, weird.

"No, sorry, I think you have the wrong apartment," I said carefully, and she shaked her head.

"Please, let me in for just an hour. I promise I'll explain everything once you let me in, " she pleaded, still grinning.

what if she's also being stalked and followed by the black cars? I'm convinced now that Jailer Gang has nothing to do with this... I think this is a human trafficking syndicate going on.

I grabbed her arm and let her in before locking the door and quickly rushing to the kitchen to get a knife.

what if she's been sent to go after me? Am I finally paying the price for escaping death?

"Hi, thank you so much for letting me in," she softly said, and that's when I realized she is pregnant.

I led her to the living room where she sat on the sofa, and so did I.

"I know this is strange, I mean having a stranger at your door on a Saturday morning and all." She said and I nodded then licked my bottom lip.

"What's your name?" I asked.

"Katherine... Katherine Santorini, I'm your neighbor. I live on the floor below yours." She said.

"Hmm, what are you doing here?" I asked.

"I'm trying to escape from my husband." That's all she said before sobbing, I quickly moved from where I was seated and comforted her shaking figure.

Soon after, the doorbell rang again, and she went on a panic mode.

My phone then chimed to let me know the delivery guy was here.

"It's just my order, calm down," I said, and she seemed to breathe.

I didn't have an appetite anymore, but hey, there's an emotional pregnant woman here who might appreciate food since she also seems unhealthy for a pregnant woman.

Grabbing a plate and a fork, I made my way to the living room and offered her my food, which she gladly and gratefullly accepted.

Andre's pov

"So you just drove off!?" Payal asked, then took a sip of her cocktail.

I sighed and then shoved my mouth with vanilla ice cream.

"Uhm, guys. I have to go, Chelsea and my mom are forcing me to eat dinner with them, " Brandon said with an eye roll.

"I don't get how you ended up with someone so snobbish, rude and stuck up," I replied and showed me the middle finger.

"Bye pussycat," Payal waved to Brandon, who completely ignored her.

Payal enjoyed twenty more minutes of complete silence.

"Why don't you just approach her?" She asked.

"I'm a coward, ok? I don't know, I don't think I'll be normal around her... I mean. It's been 2 years, " I said, then sighed.

"Well, we obviously know she loves LA Vie Cafe, so why don't you go grab a coffee...plus the employees have been asking about their favorite star" Payal shrugged.

LA Vie Cafe is owned by Payal, but she's a secret owner, so nobody, not even the workers, knows she owns it, the workers think of her as a regular customer. She wanted to have control of something that she doesn't have to do with her social influence.

"Fine...I will meet her, but on Monday."

"You should use my car since she's seemingly used to your cars."

"No way! Your car is too girly...it's a traumatic vehicle to be in, worse, to drive it! I have six other cars, so I can use the cars i have never used before. " I shrugged, then placed a hundred dollar bill on our table before leaving side by side with Payal.

I honestly have thought about moving on with Payal especially after she helped me get back up on feet after realizing how much I actually loved Audrey and how late I was to save our marriage, if only I had trusted her and had not cheated. but I just could never bring myself to have any romantic feelings for Payal despite the media portraying us as a couple in secret.

It's funny how the media thinks one day Payal and I are going to make a public appearance as an actual couple, holding hands and all of that romantic stuff.

I wave to Payal, who got in her less girly car, which so happens to be a matte purple Lamborghini.

As nervous as I am for the day I face Audrey, i can't help but look forward to it.
