John shut his eyes, awaiting his impact with the ground. I mean, his huge build hitting the gravel could really do some damage to him. Not forgetting the fact that his little brother was sleeping on his back(Seth was more feminine size) and he couldn't just let go and drop him.

After what seemed like ten whole seconds, John opened his eyes and noticed that he was floating before he safely landed on his feet in front of Anya.

"Thanks, that was close," John said with a sigh of relief. His heart is still racing.

Anya smiled at him, but she was interrupted by someone's heavy breathing. She then stared at the four new kids (There is a forgetting charm at the gate. They forgot every day that she has these powers. Not today though) who stared in shock. Except Willow, who was breathing funny.

Kenny stepped in quickly to explain, but Lawrence face-palmed before he spoke up first, "It's a thing here. You'll get used to it."

"Do people know? Others and not us, I mean?" Ray asked.

"Nope. Let's keep it that way." Lawrence clapped his hands, "Okay. Load yourselves in the van!"

Caleb and Andy went in first to distract their minds while the rest tailed.

"Getting used." Ray muttered, "Oh, fuck this shit!"

As Willow was entering the van, Kenny poked her on the waist jokingly. She had tickles, which caused her to startle, making Kenny give her a cheeky grin.

Yeah, she was so getting more of that.

Royal Peak. Yeah,  sure, the name was dramatic. Sure, kings and queens around the world took their kids there. Sure middle class is the poverty class in that community. It couldn't be all bad, right?

Kenny thought wrong.

It's like his ancestors were trying to get to him at that point because that place looked so familiar.

On top of one of Kage Mountain's ranges, there stood a castle. As high as a skyscraper merged.

"I'm assuming that's the school?" Caleb swallowed hard as he spoke.

Not a soul in the vehicle answered. Lawrence would have, but he too forgot just how grand it looked even from, yes, eight miles off.

They weren't even near the school, but the solid grey rock was calling their names.

Trouble.

All that Anya could think was that these walls were about to hold all the trouble she'd never want to face. It was scary. Which gave more reason never to show it, they needed her to be the calm one.

The gates of the school were large and wooden, or at least looked wooden. High up to twelve feet and wide enough for four cargo trucks to pass through at a go.

"Aight!" Lawrence announced as he turned off the engine of the van, "Our luggage is behind us, so I'll just go in and get your documents."

The whole group stepped out of the van, and we're, surprisingly, animated.

Ray wouldn't let go of John in an arm lock under his left arm. He had a good grip and a huge frame. Bigger than that of John himself.

Kenny and Caleb were too busy making fun of how Andy, Stacy and Willow were---well...girling around.

Anya and Seth were just standing around, observing the environment.

Lawrence saw this and sighed. He needed them to focus, at least until they got their accommodations set, then all would be well. His wife told him this would happen, and only one solution was recorded in the history of his family.

The whistle.

No one saw it coming. They all paused and blankly stared at Lawrence.

He tucked it in his waistcoat pocket and cleared his throat, "Well, I guess now you're all attentive? " Lawrence got a nod in unison from the group. "Great, office! Now!"

At the command, they all fell in step behind Lawrence, who seemed to forget his way until a few students pointed him there.

The entrance of the fort was the admin section. It looked like entering a great museum. There were so many paintings and suits of armour, swords, shields and a grand painting of the founding family of the school 200 years earlier.

"Look around, I'll go in and get y'all signed in," Lawrence spoke sternly, "and don't even think of touching ANYTHING!" Looking at the boys specifically.

Kenny gave a salut followed by John, and funny enough, the others joined, "Yes, sir!"

Larry gave a deep sigh and just headed off up the stairs.

The group of students walked about the vast room with glass cubes decorating the centre of the room, with smaller and more ridiculous crafts on display.

After a boring cross-examination and entertaining criticism remarks from Kenny and Seth, Stacy brought them to the attention of a large fresco that had ranks of different families.

Ray looked at it for a long moment before he spoke. "So, does anyone know how to read this?"

"Dude," Caleb chimed in, "Is that even English?"

"Ahh!" A voice met them all, "I thought what got y'all interested was that nude painting...." Lawrence walked and fitted himself in the centre front of the group.

Kenny leaned his elbow on his father's shoulder, "So, you know what this is?"

Lawrence shrugged Kenny off, then cleared his throat, "This is the ranking of different families that attend this school.

The blue bloods are direct royalty, the white bloods are more like their second cousins, and the grey bloods are the more or less distant relatives."

"And we are, uncle?"Seth asked after thinking it through for a while, along with the others.

"We?" Lawrence thought about it faithfully, then he nodded to himself, "Yep, we're grey bloods, but then again, were the only direct descendants of the nobles that ruled this place ages ago."

Kenny asked, "What do you mean by that?"

"You know, the guy who founded the school had to get a special request from one of our ancestors who was in charge of the kingdom border. So the land was split in some arguments, and the family kinda gave away this piece for the school, but the Kings took the rest, and the Gnahs took the other portion, Elmswood," Lawrence answered passively.

"The story of King Gnah is real?" Stacy absently asked.

Anya knew that the name Gnah was just King in the language beyond the barriers of this world....but that's another WHOLE story for later.

Larry turned his attention to the bunch of keys in his hands. " Who wants to see the house?"

"Excuse me," Andy re-echoed, "House?"
