Chapter 14

you cried and cried and cried. you pulled your knees up against your chest and cried over everything that had happened starting with what just happened with you and niall to your mothers death and everything in between. all of this built up emotion just flowed out of you and you couldn't hold it in anymore. you wished you mom was here to hold you and tell you everything was going to be fine. someone's shoulder to lean on, someone who you could just talk to and nod their head and listen. you wished you had your mom more than ever now. this was definitely your first serious heartbreak and you wished your mom was around to help you out.

after a few hours, you cried so much, you didn't have any tears left. you just sat on the floor with your back against the door thinking how everything had went from incredibly perfect with Niall's little scavenger hunt, to him tearing your heart out and stomping all over it. as much as it hurts to say it, you suddenly regretted ever coming to their show. you wished you never spent money on their ticket, that you never came all the way here, or stayed in the hotel, or you ever met them. everything was just falling apart. you were lying to your dad about where you were for the past week and you were dragging you best friend into it. you were living a dream and it was all coming crashing down. you knew what you had to do.

you had to get out. get back to your hotel. get out of this city. get back home and away from all of this. you got up and walked to a mirror and tried to fix what you saw. you mascara was all over your face and your hair was everywhere. you went over to the sink and wiped all the makeup off and ran your fingers through your hair. it was around 2 in the morning and everyone had gone home after attempting to bang on the door and get you to come out. they tried calling and texting you, but you just turned your phone off after seeing it light up over 25 times. one by one their attempts failed and they went back to their hotel rooms to get some sleep.

you took a deep breath, slowly unlocked the door. you opened it and stepped out into the hall and started walking straight for the door. "Hayley, Hayley, we need to talk. wait Hayley" you knew that voice all to well. the irish accent echoed you name in your ears. memories started flooding back. you started to quicken your pace as he walked after you trying to get your attention. right as you were reaching out to grab the door handle, you felt his hand on your arm. he spun you around and him lips collided with yours. you melted at his touch as he pour all the feelings he had towards you into this one kiss. he finally pulled away and before you could say anything he started apologizing

N:" Hayley im so sorry for everything. i didn't mean to hurt you, i was just stressed out from the concert. i saw you out in the crowd looking gorgeous and you took my breath away. i was mad at myself for forgetting the lyrics and i was just mad that maybe if i didn't spend all the time with you i wouldn't be falling for you so hard. and i just can't hold it in anymore. i-i i love you Hayley."

the look in his eyes and the emotion in his voice told you that he meant every single word that he said. hes eyes were red and puffy and you could tell he had been crying. niall just told you he loved you and you were in shock. when you finally came to your senses, the tears started flowing again. niall reached up and wiped away your tears and said

"hayley im sorry if this is alot to take in and if you don't feel the same way i'll get over it, but i can't hold in my feelings anymore. the truth is im crazy about you"

you didn't even think about your next move, you just instinctively leaned in and kissed him. even after what had happened tonight, you completely forgot about it when niall told you those three words. no one had ever said that to you, and you were up on cloud nine right now. you both pulled away and leaned your foreheads together. "i love you too niall"

you arrived back in you hotel and niall stayed with you for a while. you both sat out on your balcony under the star. you cuddled under a blanket enjoying the view and finally being with each other and knowing how the other person felt.

Y:"im sorry about before"

N:"you have nothing to be sorry about hayley, i yelled at you for no reason and i regretted it from the moment it happened"

Y:"but i over reacted and everything that went wrong in my life that i kept in for so long just came to the surface and i just couldn't keep it in anymore"

******Niall's POV******

i could tell she was hurt, worn out, and tired. she needed someone to talk to and i would do anything to make this girl smile again. even if it meant walking to the ends of the earth and back while pulling a thousand tons. this girl meant so much to me, i already screwed up with her once and i certainly wont do it again.

N:"Hayley, whatever is going on in your life,whatever problems your having, i'll always be here for you. if you want to talk about it im all ears"

she sighed, but seemed grateful for what i just said. she looked like she needed to just talk and let everything out: all the troubles that she was holding in. and she trusted me with all of it.

Y:" alright well it all started when i was born.....
