Just Beneath The Surface *Niall Horan Fanfiction*

Chapter 27

you swam towards the edge and saw Niall take the leap. his arms started swinging in circles as he fell causing him to splat against the surface of the water. it sounded like it hurt and it made a pretty big splash. he came up to the surface and groaned

N:" ouch, that was definitely not safe"

Y:"well if your falling from that height normal people wouldn't want to keep their arms out like that"

N:"hey be nice"

he splashed you, sending a wave of icy cold water your way. obviously this ended in an all out water fight, causing Niall to grab you by the waist and bring you deeper into the water and for you to jump on his shoulders until he was submerged underwater. you both laughed and swam around until your lips turned blue from the cold water. then you got out of the water, found your shoes and walked hand in hand back to your house. 

you raced him to the front of your house and of course you won

Y:"wow you are slow :P"

N:"nah i just let you win"

Y:"yeah, that what they all say"

N:"your asking for it Hayls"

he tickled you until you couldn't breath and had to beg for mercy. when he finally let you breath again, you got up and changed into some dry cloths. Niall had all of his stuff with him so he changed into some jeans, a t shirt, and a pair of supras. you but on a pair of shorts, a tshirt, a pair of converse, and Niall's hoodie. 

N:"is that my jumper?"

Y:"maybe"

N:" haha do you know how long i've been looking for that?"

Y:"no, but what i do know is your not getting it back"

N:"thats ok, it looks better on you anyways"

he walked over to you as you rummaged through your cupboards looking for something

N:"what are you looking for babe?"

Y:"uhhh hmmm oh here we go"

you bulled out a box of graham crackers, chocolate, and marshmallows and put them onto a tray and carried them out to the backyard. you placed them on a table besides your little outdoor fireplace. with in a few minutes you had a blazing fire going and you and NIall cuddled on a swinging bench thing roasting marshmallows. the sound of the fire crackling and the crickets chirping filled the air around you as the smoke from the fire rose towards the night sky. the moon cast a milky white light over the grass causing the dew to reflect off of it. 

Y:"its such a beautiful night"

N:"yeah, but not as beautiful as you"

everything this boy said to you caused you to blush like crazy. everything he said was so incredibly sweet you always wondered how in the world you had gotten so lucky as to find a guy as perfect as him.

he leaned in and planted a passionate kiss on your lips. when he pulled away his marshmallow was on fire and he jumped up trying to put it our. you laughed and continued to roast yours until it was a perfect golden brown. being Niall was already up, you held you marshmallow out to him so he could add the graham crackers and chocolate and turn it into a s'more. he took the s'more and sat down next to you. you had  your legs up on the bench so you were leaning towards Niall, and had a blanket wrapped around your legs. Niall started to bring the s'more to his mouth before you stopped him.

Y:"woah woah woah, thats my s'more"

N:"but it looks so good"

Y:"haha not my fault yours caught on fire"

N:"pwease?"

Y:"ugh Niall"

N:"haha share then?"

Y:" finee"

he smiled as he brought the s'more up to your mouth. you bit into the cracker and the marshmallow while laughing at how silly you both looked. when you finished half of it, Niall took the rest of it and finished it off in one bite while licking the melted chocolate off of his fingers. for the rest of the night, you and Niall cuddled under the stars making roasting marshmallows and laughing.
