Chapter 24

you looked up at the ceiling and didn't know what to think. your dad wasn't home because he was at work, but still. Niall was on his way over now and when your dad came home all hell would brake loose. even though your dad was getting help for his drinking, he still had a really bad temper, he had already told you not to see Niall, so this wasn't going to go down without and argument. you placed your head in your hands and groaned knowing you were in in over your head and you were gunna regret it very shortly. but then again, it was Niall and you were completely head over heels for him. nothing was going to keep you two away from each other, not even your dad. him saying you two couldn't be together wasn't going to make a difference and you weren't going down without a fight.

you were deep in thought when you heard a knock on your door. you sprinted towards the front door and into Niall's arms. everything felt so perfect when he held you, like nothing in the world was wrong. he embraced you as you quietly sobbed into his shoulder. he nuzzled his head into the crook of your neck while his arms wee securely wrapped around your waist. you could tell how upset Niall was by the news because his breathing was shaky, but you knew he was try to be strong for you.

N:"i can't Hayley, i can't be away from you"

Y:"i know, i love you to much to be away from you"

N:" we have to figure something out, i need you with me"

Y:"and we will, my dads not gunna stop us being together."

N:"no, hes not, im willing to fight for you"

he softly kissed your lips and held you close to him. you never wanted to let go of Niall, because you didn't know when the next time you would see him would be. you didn't want to have to say good bye to him ever again and you knew it was coming, not because he was giving up on this relationship like you thought he might, but because he had one more tour date that he had to go to. he tried to get it switched so he didn't have to leave you, but you insisted that he didn't let his fans down. the next day you said your goodbyes and this time, you were the one left on the sidewalk crying. the boy you loved was going to be hundreds of miles away from you in only a few hours and the fact that you were forbidden by your father to see him made things even worse.

you laid around your house for the rest of the day trying to drown out your feelings with ice cream and tv, which wasn't really working. you tried listening to Ed Sheeran, but that only reminded you of Niall, which just made you cry even more. you were sitting in the living room when your dad came home from work. he walked in the house and tried talking to you, but you weren't having it.

D:"hey Hayley

Y:"....."

D:"Hayley?!"

Y:"....."

D:"your really gunna be like this?"

Y:"...."

you walked into the kitchen and placed your bowl and spoon in the sink. while he tried talking to you. 

D:"fine be like that, as long as your not with that boy you can be as mute as you want, i don't care"

thats it, you couldn't take him anymore. he knew that was your weak spot and he knew exactly how to push your buttons, and you finally snapped.

Y:" OF COURSE YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT BECAUSE YOU ONLY CARE ABOUT YOURSELF. THATS ALL YOU'VE EVER CARED ABOUT. NEVER TAKING A SECOND TO THINK ABOUT HOW ANYONE ELSE IS FEELING AND IM SICK AND TIRED OF IT"

you had to admit, it felt good to finally get out everything that you had been holding in for years. you instantly went to your room and made sure to slam your door extra loud to make your point proven to your father.

D:"THATS IT, I DONT HAVE TO PUT UP WITH THIS SHIT!"

you heard him storm out the front door and slam it back against its frame. the whole house shook when it closed and you instantly regretted what you had done. you know what happens to your dad when he gets this angry......
