Personality and traits: Leo is a talented youth with a strong drive to succeed, something that was drilled into his skull by his adopted father. Despite this, he doesn't allow it to cloud his mind or let it breed arrogance. He prefers thinking with logic over emotion, stating one who acts or thinks based on emotion will make irrational decisions and in the life of a NEXT pilot, that will cost the person their life. He isn't a fan of big crowds, preferring to stay out of the limelight but that doesn't mean he is anti-social. Leo is charismatic, instilling motivation or lifting one's spirit when they're down. He emits an aura his father describes being like the Sun, warm, comforting yet potentially destructive. He doesn't believe in mindless bloodshed, firmly believing those kinds of individuals shouldn't be walking the streets instead behind the bars of a maximum-security prison. He detests self-centered or arrogant people believing those who think they're God tend to suffer the worst fate. He equally detests liars. Leo started his pilot training at 16 years old, spending the next 3 learning everything he can about piloting a NEXT and showing a high compatibility with the Allegory Manipulation System. Because of his intelligence and heterochromic eyes, Leo is picked on by some of the other NEXT pilots or people in general. He maintains a small social circle instead of a big one, never understood why people think having a big social circle is good. In Leo's point of view, small is better because that way one can focus on the relationships that do matter.

Leo has a passion for history, understanding that learning from the past is important because those who don't are doomed to repeat it. In his downtime, he is usually seen reading a book regarding past conflicts and even the Titans, finding them be very intriguing creatures. More than dinosaurs. To imagine beings existed in the planet's prehistoric times and he always wondered what meeting one would be like. Aside his love for history, he likes reading manga and occasionally listening to anime music as a means of coping with the constant dance with death that the life of a Lynx is.

In battle, Leo remains calm and adjusts his battle style depending on his opponent and the battle location. However, when driven onto his back-foot or he takes the kid gloves off is where Leo is the most dangerous to his opponent while trying to keep damage as low as possible if the battle takes place in a city. It takes a lot to anger Leo, anyone who does are given a glare so intense some people have described as looking at the Grim Reaper. Usually that glare is enough to settle matters without escalating to violence. However, sometimes force is needed to end the dispute.

One interesting thing about Leo is he has the ability to "see" a person's aura, looking into someone's heart and see what their personality is. Simultaneously he is unaware of this feat, ruling it as a gut feeling.

For all his logic and emotional control, Leo has no memory of his childhood. He struggles to remember if he had one but every time he does, it's like running into a brick wall and winds up him being frustrated. Leo even at one point asked his father why he can't remember but doesn't get an answer.

Another flaw is Leo has a hidden fear of disappointing others. This fear is why Leo prefers to handle a situation on his own, not wanting to rely on others' assistance which is a strange twist of irony as he's the one cheering others up. He sometimes ignores the advice of others saying it's okay to ask for help, that it doesn't make him appear weak nor does he need to bear something all on his own. The third flaw is the death of his mother left a big hole in Leo's heart. He always was close with his parents and at times wanted to have a younger sibling, regardless of if they were adopted or not. He keeps this emotional pain hidden from others and only in the safety of his room or his NEXT that he lets the tears out, at times crying himself to sleep. His small social circle of friends offered their assistance to help him overcome the feeling of isolation and sadness, that they will always be there for him when times are tough.
