It's the year 2030 and young aspiring NEXT pilot Leo Calaway seeks to leave his own mark in the annals of history while treading a world locked in conflict with other Armored Core NEXTs and Titans.

Leo wakes up after an intense yesterday of Kaiju battles and even a rogue NEXT. After dinner, the redhead passed out.
He gets out of bed, stretch and yawn and down some water before taking care of business. After that, he downs the pre-workout, puts on his gym clothes and heads for the gym while for the pre-workout to kick in. He stops by a fridge containing water bottles to grab a bottle of water and enters the gym. No one is occupying it.
Leo spends the next hour lifting weights while listening to music.
'There's been a spike in Kaiju activity recently according to the base commander. It's possible the Kaiju have been feeding on the Kojima radiation during my absence.' Leo thought.
After the final round, Leo ends his training session and heads back to his room to shower and get ready for the day. Now fully dressed, the young American ventures toward the cafeteria to have breakfast, selecting a bacon and egg sandwich, an apple, two slices of 100% whole grain, whole wheat bread and settles from a bottle of chocolate milk. Taking a seat at an empty table, Leo eats his breakfast and watches YouTube videos including a fan-made animations of the GMK Godzilla taking on Baragon, Veran and Anguirus, the Kaiju the GMK Godzilla was originally going to face in Giant Monsters: All-Out Attack before they were swapped for Mothra, King Ghidorah and keeping Baragon but not include him in the movie title.
Leo takes a sip of the chocolate milk as the video plays, showing how ruthless and aggressive the GMK Godzilla is. The young America finishes his meal at the same time as Godzilla kills Anguirus with his powerful atomic breath.
Placing his now empty plate on the conveyor belt, Leo watches the news as Jonas from the R&D reveals a futuristic battle robot that has a humanoid appearance, standing 6'5" tall, its frame is broad and covered with gray colored armor plating and held in the right hand is an SMG-sword combo.

Jonas (on the TV): "Here's our newest weapon. It's called Ares, named after the Greek God of War. This will one day completely replace human infantry, thus reducing the costs to evaluate, train and complete missions without questioning orders. Its armor is made out of the titanium and tungsten used for the NEXTs. We outfitted the armor with special electrical insulation to protect its circuits from electrical discharges and electromagnetic pulses. The Ares' primary weapon is a weapon combo, the SMG is based on the based on the Scorpion sub-machine gun while the blade part is one meter long and stab through body armor like it was a mere piece of paper. We have been able to produce fifty of these with plans to make one-thousand in two years. The Ares you see here is part of the first generation and as such they're the test generation to see what can be improved on to make these units more efficient and effective in battle."
