Chloe: Hey Sam... Just leave your room already.
Samuel: I told you a hundred times already, no.
Chloe had been with me ever since Fathima died.
Chloe: Sam! Out, now!
Her personality changed from strict to troublesome.
Chloe: I'm bored, just leave already.
And now, the void does not appear with her.
Chloe: I give up... No, I don't.
She kept pestering me to move on ever since her first appearance on the tenth. She had explained to me that Fathima's death was important to progressing my dreams of the future, but I never asked her to follow up on it. I didn't get why the ghost of a dream doctor must haunt me out of the billions that live in this world.
Chloe: How do I put this? Sam, I haunt only you because you're the only real person in this world.
Samuel: Why are you telling me this now? And what do you mean I'm the only real person?
Chloe: Ever heard of the theory that life could be a dream?
Samuel: What about it?
Chloe: Well, every human is aware of the fact that everything tends to lie, that includes dreams. And when you keep dreaming, you'll never wake up to face the reality of these events.
Samuel: Are you telling me I should wake up?
Chloe: That is correct. That's why I exist after all.
The void returned within a blink of an eye, and Chloe walked away from me while saying...
Chloe: Ah, looks like the time has come. You are about to wake up again. See you later Sam.
Samuel: Wait!
10th December 2015
Weeks of grief, wasted in just a dream. I looked around at my room and realized how unclean it had become over time. I shouldn't be pathetic and move on because Fathima would've been mad at me.
Sarah: (Knocks the door) Hey Sam. Are you awake?
Samuel: Yes, come in.
Sarah: (Enters the room) You are all right, right?
Samuel: I didn't move on fully, but I'm all right. How did the funeral go?
Sarah: Oh, I was asked not to attend because I was crying too much, which is not allowed in Islamic traditions.
Samuel: I knew you were always a crybaby.
Sarah: Hey, even you would've cried for days, but for some reason, you aren't.
That's because I already did cry.
Samuel: If I cry, Fathima would never forgive herself. So, I must resist.
Sarah: That's rich.
Chloe: Quite rich indeed...
Samuel: (Turns to Chloe) I'm not dreaming, right?
Sarah: Why would you look at the door and just ask that?
Chloe: Let's just say that I found a way to become your subconscious.
Samuel: (Sighs) I might just be tripping up. Anyways, did you have breakfast?
Sarah and Chloe: No.
Samuel: (Whispers to Chloe) I'm not asking you.
