Fathima: You did not cry for me, Sam?
Chloe: He did not cry for you...
Fathima: He hates me, doesn't he?
Chloe: I wouldn't say that.
Fathima: I can't believe I used my last words to confess to him...
23rd December 2015
Samuel: (Jolts out of bed) She confessed to me!
Amna: I was about to wake you up, but okay...
Samuel: (Looks over at Amna) Ah, good morning.
Amna: Good morning.
Samuel: I believe you've been working here for more than a week and I must ask, how is it for you?
Amna: It's been great so far. Ms. Margaret even gave me my sister's recipes and I'm almost done learning them.
Samuel: I'll judge your cooking as I'm an expert in eating Fathima's food.
Amna smiled and nodded her head. She then continued...
Amna: By the way, Daniel just called saying that the party will be held tomorrow.
Samuel: But isn't Christmas Eve tomorrow?
Amna: He probably wants to avoid the costs of putting two separate parties on close dates. He did promise a party for both the celebration and Christmas, but he was careful to not mention any other information about them.
Samuel: He is cheekier than I thought... In that case, let's head out.
Amna: Out where?
Samuel: We can't attend a party without a new set of clothes, plus, I know a good place that sells hijabs, niqabs, and even shalwar.
Amna: Why would I wear a shalwar to a party here?
Samuel: It's not about wearing to fit in with the crowd but to wear what you love.
Amna: That's rich... I'll decide once we get there.
3:57 p.m.
We had reached the clothing store that I had mentioned. The memories of Fathima and I browsing through the store every two weeks rushed into me... Her love for shopping got to me...
One of the salespeople, named Abdul, greeted me immediately. He was the only lasting employee who was present from when Fathima and my loyalty to the store began.
Abdul: Hey there Samuel! Long time, no see.
Amna: (Tugs Samuel's cuff and whispers) Do you know him?
Samuel: (Whispers back) Yes, you see... I was a loyal customer here so almost every employee knows me now.
Abdul approached us and looked at Amna for a few seconds...
Abdul: Are you Fathima's sister?
Amna: Yes... How did you know?
Abdul: You have some of the same features.
Amna: That's my first time being told that...
Abdul: Anyways, what could I help you two with?
Samuel: Ah, well... We are going to attend a business party tomorrow and I'd like to get new clothes for it.
Abdul: We could help with that for sure. Samuel, you can come with me while
Amna will be aided by Mariyam.
Samuel: Wait, can I yell with you?
Abdul: Sure. Ready? Three... Two... One...
