Chapter 7: The Divine Plan Tips in Our Favor

Aziraphale and Crowley held each other in Aziraphale's bed. They held each other's hand and listened to each other breathe. "Crowley, I'm still quite frightened of the thought of Heaven and Hell doing something about this." Said Aziraphale as Crowley sighed.
"So am I, Angel but I'm not sure there's much we can do until they make a move." Said Crowley as Aziraphale rubbed his thumb on the back of the Demon's hand.
"I suppose." Said Aziraphale as Crowley leaned closer and kissed him.
"Come on Angel, let's get a little sleep, you especially." Said Crowley as he squeezed Aziraphale's hands just a little.
"Alright." Said Aziraphale as they two snuggled up together and fell asleep.

The next morning Crowley wanted to spend the whole day with Aziraphale but Aziraphale had something he needed to do alone so he slowly tried to get rid of him. "Crowley, don't you need to go check on the other two?" Asked Aziraphale as Crowley shook his head.
"No I already checked in with them the other day, plus today's Wednesday they do personal things today so I'd rather not be anywhere near that flat." Said Crowley as he slithered up behind Aziraphale who was having tea and wrapped his arms around the Angel's waist and put his head on Aziraphale's shoulder. "I've got the whole day with you two." Said Crowley as he kissed Aziraphale's cheek and gently placed his hands over Aziraphale's lower abdomen. Aziraphale sighed and set his tea down.
"Crowley, I adore your sudden affection but I would like a little personal space if you wouldn't mind." Said Aziraphale as Crowley let go of him.
"Oh, sorry." Said Crowley as he fixed his glasses and Aziraphale turned to face him.
"Not just that." Said Aziraphale as he sighed. "The thought of Heaven getting involved and smiting our child is just too much I need to know that they're safe so I thought I would contact the Metatron and get an answer at least from my side of things." Said Aziraphale as Crowley nodded.
"And I take it you'd like to do this alone?" Asked Crowley as Aziraphale could see the hurt behind Crowley's glasses and couldn't take it.
"You can join me if you'd like." Said Aziraphale as Crowley nodded.
"Alright sure." Said Crowley as Aziraphale nodded.
"Alright."

The two went downstairs and revealed the circle hidden under Aziraphale's rug in the shop. He gathered the candles and set everything up. They stood on the outside of the circle and watched it activate. "Hello? Is anyone there?" Asked Aziraphale as Crowley stood next to him.
"Hello Aziraphale." Said the voice of God which caused them both to tremble.
"The All Mighty!" Said Aziraphale as he stared into the light with a glimmer of hope in his eye. Crowley however was completely horrified.
"Hello Crowley, you look better than the last time we met." Said God as Crowley back away until he dropped to his knees, his eyes rolled into the back of his head and he passed out on the floor.
"Crowley!?" Said Aziraphale as he rushed to his side.
"Don't worry, he's just in shock, he'll be fine in a bit." Said God as Aziraphale stood and walked back over.
"Alright well, I'm certain you know of me and Crowley's recent developments?" Asked Aziraphale as his voice trembled.
"Oh yes, I'm actually quite in favor of you two being an item, that's why I've given you that gift." Said God as Aziraphale looked down and knew exactly what she was talking about.
"The child?!" Said Aziraphale as he looked back into the blinding light.
"Yes and I know why you've called but you have my word that your child is safe from Heavenly intervention. Aziraphale this child is very important to the New Divine Plan." Said God as Aziraphale paused on that.
"New Divine Plan?" Asked Aziraphale.
"Yes, I've grown bored with the idea of an apocalypse and you and Crowley seem determined to stop it every time it comes up no matter what I do to get you on board so why not make you two the center of my new plan." Said God as Aziraphale felt so honored to be part of God's plan.
"Thank you! My Lord thank you!" Said Aziraphale as he smiled.
"Your welcome Aziraphale, take good care of her, she's meant for great things." Said God as the light dimmed and the circled powered down.

A little bit later Crowley woke up in Aziraphale's arms. "Welcome back." Said Aziraphale as he brushed a hair off Crowley's face.
"Ugh my head." Said Crowley as he sat up rubbing the back of his head.
"Yes quite the nasty fall, don't worry I fixed you up." Said Aziraphale as Crowley sat there on the floor.
"What happened after I passed out?" Asked Crowley as Aziraphale beamed brightly.
"God has promised me that Heaven will leave us alone because our baby is very important to God's New Divine Plan!" Said Aziraphale with a grin.
"Really?" Asked Crowley as Aziraphale nodded.
"Mhm, God says she's very important." Said Aziraphale as Crowley blinked.
"Why did you say she?" Asked Crowley as Aziraphale paused.
"That's what God called our child." Said Aziraphale as Crowley nodded.
"Huh... I mean who would know better than God." Crowley mumbled as he stood then helped Aziraphale stand. "Well that's Heaven out of the way but I'm not quite sure how we'd get Hell to back off if they even know." Said Crowley as he sighed.
"Well I'm certain we'll find some way around them but for now, we can rest at ease knowing we have Heaven by our side." Said Aziraphale as he held Crowley's hand.
"I suppose it's good enough for now." Said Crowley as he smiled at Aziraphale then kissed the Angel's cheek. "Now what?" Asked Crowley as Aziraphale sighed.
"Crepes sound delightful." Said Aziraphale as Crowley smiled.
"Then let's pop over to Paris, Angel." Said Crowley with a grin.
