"Thank goodness I came on time" she said acting all dramatic

"That non of you business" she said plugging the ring light

"What are you planning this time around, ruining my face" I said

"No no Baby sis I just want to beautify you face with my art" she said, I rolled my eyes and sit on the vanity chair, she start the makeup gisting  me about her classmate and how the act crazy on how she dress, the makeup is done in few minutes, I adorn my neck with a simple silver chain and earrings, a Rolex watch and a silver bracelet, I wear sneakers, pick  my graduation gown before hopping downstairs not before taking my clutch along, I don't want them to have a glimpse of me so I ask the drive to drop me off at school, Ayaan put some of his bags in the car before the driver leave.

I spot Afnan and few of my classmates in the garden taking pictures, I join them and we snap thousands of pictures (lol)

The atmosphere is electric with anticipation. The auditorium is filled with proud parents, excited teachers, and of course, the graduating student, We match to the hall and seat in our side, noticing Ihsan and few of my cousins that live in Abuja flashing them a sly smile and a wave

As the ceremony begins, the principal takes the stage and delivers an inspiring speech, reminding us of all the hard work and dedication we've put into our education. We can't help but feel a sense of accomplishment and pride, and the head boy make his passing out speech and then my name is called and I walked to the stage felling nervous, I look to my left side where family and friend of the graduating student are seated and the right were our teachers and junior student are seated and the high table for the higher rank staffs and the VIPs, my eyes meet with Dad and he flash me a smile that says you can do it dear, I take a deep breath and here comes nothing

"In the name of Allah, the most beneficial and the most merciful, All praise is due to Allah, May his peace and blessings be on his messenger, his family and whoever adhere to his teachings.

The directors, principal, vice principal, respected teachers, fellow student and our beloved parents, Good-day to you'll

It indeed a great honour to be given the opportunity to make a valedictory speech as the head girl, I'm sad because I'm leaving this school but at the same time I'm excited by what is in front of me and the challenges ahead, it seems like yesterday that I was admitted to this school 6years ago, looking back now all I can do is express my gratitude to my parent for enrolling me into this great citadel of learning.

My classmate and I started as total strangers to friends and now we ended up as family, we shared a season of our lives but every season has to end, nonetheless, with each season that ends another has to usher in, and today as we are standing at the edge of the cliff with a sea of possibilities below us, all that required is a leap of faith to experience the exhilaration of choosing our own destiny, yes, as we dive into our future, we will meet many fishes in the sea called life, some will be friendly while some will try to bite us, there will be time when we'll feel as if we're drowning in a world that doesn't provide the same security we enjoyed here in Regent, but do not falter keep you head up high and keep moving forward with absolute faith in Allah and continuous hardwork.

Never forget your value and never allow anyone to treat you with less respect that you deserve, make the best of any situation and remember that the grass is greener when you water it more, pour all your positive and energy into every moment of your life and you will soon have a garden of great memories and achievements, may we reap the reward of all the hard work we put in and may we live a life that we will be proud of one day.

I would like to express my gratitude to The Director and Directorate, Mr Sam Adeyemi and Mrs Sa'adatu Lawal, The principal Mr Joshua Anointed, The vice principal Mrs Sule Badiru and to all our teacher, my thanks to our form teacher Mr Adetokumbo for keeping us together and making sure that we always pull in the same direction, thanks again to our teachers for supporting us no matter what and putting up with our craziness and all also thanks to my classmate for always being there for me, Thanks to all our parent for parenting is not something easy, but you seem to mastered it without too much effort, may Almighty bless you all

To the future senior students and indeed to all the Regent students in general, I urge you to remain steadfast, committed to you studies, loyal to the school and your parents, be your brothers keeper as well as good members of your communities and law abiding citizens.

So it's time to say goodbye, our years here has finally come to an end, we've made some cherished memories with our friends, we've watch each other learn and grow and change from day to day, I hope that all the things we've done will help us along the way.

I'm Aisha Muhammad, the outgoing headgirl of Regent secondary school."  The crowd cheers and applause immediately after my speech.

One by one, our names are called, and we walk across the stage to receive our certificates and prizes. The cheers and applause from our loved ones fill the room, making us feel even more special

After the formalities, it's time to celebrate! The school gymnasium is transformed into a festive party venue. There's a DJ playing our favorite songs, and the dance floor is packed with graduates showing off their best moves.

Outside, there's a photo booth set up, complete with props and a personalized graduation backdrop. We take turns snapping pictures, capturing these precious moments with our friends.

The school has arranged a delicious buffet with all our favorite dishes. From pizza and sliders to cupcakes and ice cream, there's something for everyone to enjoy. We gather around the tables, sharing stories and laughing together.

Throughout the celebration, we take the opportunity to thank our teachers for their guidance and support. They've played a crucial role in shaping our futures, and we're grateful for their dedication.

I walked to the car to keep my prizes, I meet Salmah in my way back talking to someone in the phone
"No change of plan, I want to make her life miserable" I heard her saying before she end the call and walk toward me
"Congratulations dear classmate, don't think leaving this school means leaving me"  she said

"Thanks and same too you, who told you that I'm leaving you, huh, I always like keeping in touch with my friends" I said sarcastically rolling my eyes

"I'm even inviting you to my graduation party dear friend, I will be happy if you attend, in case you need my number ask you clingy friend" I added with a winking, before flipping my imaginary hair and walk away.

As the ceremony comes to a close, we gather for one last group photo, holding our certificates high in the air. It's a symbol of our achievements and the beginning of a new chapter in our lives.

After the long day we went home together with Ayaan.
