'Are you sure about this?' Paige asks me as we pull up outside Charles apartment in Monaco.
'Of course she is sure about this. She's ready to get her man back.' Arthur chimes in. We had left Ibiza more or less immediately after the revelation we had discovered. Arthur had directed us to Charles apartment that was also technically Violet and Sienna.
I shot Arthur a glare to tell him to shut his pie hole. Paige nodded and unlocked the car door. She was heading to Monica's to have some piece and quite as she was adamant she has had the same hangover for around me month now.
Now it is just Arthur and I, heading to the top floor of this complex. My heart was throbbing in my throat, my hands were sweaty and I felt sick. I was about to ruin everything that Charles had ever wanted.
'Maybe we should just not get involved.' I finally spoke when we was in the lift.
'What Violet is doing is wrong! We need to stop her.' Arthur responded. Nothing I said could make him back down from this, even though I wanted to be the one to reveal the truth. I needed to be the one.
The elevator door dinged open and the door was rapidly approaching. The air was humid and my throat was dry. I had more or less forgotten how to speak at this point. Arthur lifted his hands and began to knock against the door. I leaned against the other side of the door perfectly out of view. I felt like there was no oxygen up here. I felt like I was about to have a panic attack.
'Brother?' I heard the undeniable voice of Charles Leclerc. 'To what do I owe this pleasure?'
I knew he hadn't seen me, I felt like I was disappearing in the walls. Arthur paused, before replying to his older brother. He glanced at me as I was trying to catch my breathe. Anyone would have thought we had taken the stairs.
'Stelly' Charles exhaled as he followed Arthur eye-line. 'Are you okay my love?'
His voice was warm and his question wrapped around me like a blanket. I glanced up to him. His beautiful big green eyes gazed at me. He stood there broadly in the door frame. He had no idea what was about to happen.
'Can we come in?' I manage to speak.
Charles immediately stepped aside allowing us both to enter. He poured us both a coffee and we took a seat at the table.
'So what going on?' Charles looked us puzzled. Arthur and I glanced at each other trying to mentally communicate with one another. 'I ask because the last time I saw Stelly was over 4 months ago'
'It's about Sienna' I got the words out into the open.
'I'm so glad you've decided to come and meet her Stelly.' Charles reaches his hand out to mine, 'they should be here any moment now.'
'Charles.' I start but stop struggling the figure out what I was about to say. 'Sienna is not your daughter.' I thought getting straight to the point was the best option.
'What?' Charles scoffed 'Yes she is. I did a paternity test. I was shown that Sienna is my daughter.'
I looked other to Arthur. 'It's true. Sienna is not your daughter.' Arthur repeated what I told him.
'It must have been a fake result.' I found the words that were on my tongue. 'We have the actual results.'
Charles went silent. And that was never a good sign. He placed his head in his hands and sighed in frustration 'Why am I so unlucky?'
A key could be heard turning in the lock of the front door. Arthur and I whipped out heads in that direction but Charles did not even move. Violet had returned home and she was with Sienna.
'Estella!' Violet tried to warmly greet me but I knew she was bitter. 'What are you doing here?'
'Telling Charlie the truth!' I replied, glancing to Charles who still had his head in his hands.
'The truth about what?' She questions playing dumb.
'The truth about the paternity result!' Charles shouted.
Violet told Sienna to go to her room and stood staring at us at the table.
'Charles. You are Siennas father. I got the results.' Violet remarked.
'Liar!' Arthur spat.
'You are really going to sit there and believe Little miss lonely and pathetic Montgomery over me?' Violet pointed. 'She shows up out of the blue and you believe everything she is telling you? I have told you so many times Charles that she is jealous of what you and I have!'
'I have told you so many times do not speak to her like that!' Charles jumped out of his chair. 'I cannot believe you tricked me into believing that she was my child. I can't believed you lied to me about everything. I cannot trust you anymore Violet.'
'For the last time Charles. Sienna is your daughter!' Violet tried to calm Charles down but it was no use, he was furious and he had the right to be.
'You took my money off me. I have been creating a life for a child that is not my flesh and blood. You made me drive Estella away a second time. You are manipulative and selfish and I wish I never met you. You ruined me before and I'll be damned to let you ruin me again.' Charles shouted at Violet yet she was so unaffected by his words
'They have no proof Charles. She is making it all up. She doesn't want to see you happy.' Violet point the fingers at me. I snatched Arthurs phone out of his hand and revealed the test results right in front of her eyes. I got great satisfaction from watching her world fall apart right in front of me.
'I am not lying and I have not made this up. Charlie deserves to know the truth.' I said handing the phone back to Arthur.
'How did you get this!' Violet was wearing the rage and it was not her best look, if she even had any.
'I had my ways.' Arthur responded making me chuckle
'Why do this to me?' Charles asked, he was so hurt it really hurting my heart
'Because I made a mistake by letting you go Charles. All I ever wanted was to be with you. I was always in competition with Estella. So I created something that Estella couldn't give you. I let you believe Sienna was yours when she was in fact not. People like you do not need with people like her.' She jabbed her boney finger at me. 'You ware destined to be with me.'
'I can't believe I was stupid enough to fall for you and your lies again.' Is all Charles said. 'Do you even know who her father is?'
'No.' Violet responded. 'I narrowed it down to 2 guys'
'No child deserves to grow up without a father.' Charles responded. 'I want nothing to do with you Violet. Don't ever contact me again. You can keep this apartment and you can keep this money. I am only doing this for Sienna, not for you. I couldn't care less if you ended up homeless but do that to a child is simply unforgivable.'
Charles then collected his phone and keys and walked out the apartment. Arthur gave me a nudge to follow but as we made it to the door, I turned and faced Violet for hopefully the last time.
'One last thing, you're going to need this.' I handed her a piece of paper
'What is this?' She spat.
'It's my therapist number. You clearly need some help.'
