Lancer called on his master, Kayneth El-Melloi Archibald, the most stuck up man this side of the Japan.

Expectedly, he just treated me as nothing more than a pawn in his little game..

At least all my research saved me from having to suffer through introductions.

I was noticing something though..

Something about Lancer.. everytime i look at him i feel like my hearts being pulled from my chest, it must be some kind of charm magic..

But, after being shown to Kayneth, I was once again left in the empty warehouse, seemingly alone, but i could feel Lancer's presence keeping an eye on me.

I'll have to bide my time and wait, as of now i wouldn't stand a chance-

"Lancer!"

..Is that?

"Show yourself NOW!"

It is..

I immediately went to get up but that idea was soon cut short as my ankles were still securely fastened together.

Right..

I heard Lancer's voice outside as i fished the gem back out from my sleeve.

Holding it against the bindings on my wrist i give it a small squeeze, triggering the gem as a small spark exploded from it, searing through the rope.

Quickly repeating the process on my legs, i am then finally free to make my way outside, impatiently rushing to the door.

The second i walked out, my eyes met with Gilgamesh's from where he was standing upon a wall previously looking down on Kayneth and Lancer.

Every fibre in my body told me to run to his side, but my legs wouldn't move.

Then Lancer looked back to me, over his shoulder, and i realised that's why i can't leave.

His god damn CHARM MAGIC!

I don't understand how it's had such an effect already..

I can barely take my eyes of him, like i'm some lovesick teenager!

Come on Y/N!

Not in front of Gilgamesh! Pull it together!

But, by the time i looked back to Gilgamesh, he looked about ready to just destroy the city and be done with it..

This is just great.

"I suggest you don't do anything rash, Archer.."

I felt Kayneth's magic around me, the air thinning, my body was sent into a panic, adrenaline rushing as i felt myself gasping for air where there was none.

Amidst my coughing, I noticed a glow of gold spread across the ground in front of me.

Luckily, the air soon returned and i was gratefully able to breathe again after Kayneth assumedly felt he made his point.

Looking back up, i could now see where the gold light was coming from, shining portals had begun to appear behind Gilgamesh as he scoffed, "You think you can threaten me?!"

And with that a spear flies out of one of the few portals, embedding itself in the ground between us.

"You don't know your place!"

But, Kayneth, completely unfazed, steps forward, saying "I suggest you leave, we'll negotiate this with Tokiomi"

My father didn't send him.?

I didn't even think he'd be able to come after me with the command seal..

"She is mine. Give her to me!"

Honestly, just him saying that made my heart tighten than charm magic possibly could.
