The Autobots

"Colonel." One of the robots said when he saw me and Epps.

"Epps, there you are." One of the men near the robots said as he turned around.

"Who is this?" He asked when he saw me.

"This is the new Major. Miss Y/N L/N." Epps introduced me as we stopped in front of the man.

I took notice that the robots had stopped what they were doing and were listening to our conversation.

"Nice to meet you miss L/N. I'm Willian Lennox, but you can call me Lennox. I'm the Colonel of the Autobots and this division. Welcome to N.E.S.T." Lennox introduced himself and held out his hand.

"Thank you." I replied and shook his hand.

"Have you toured around the hanger?" Lennox asked as he pulled his hand away.

"Not really. But I have a quick question." I said.

"What is it?" Lennox asked, a hint of curiosity in his voice.

"Autobots?" I questioned.

"You didn't tell her?" Lennox turned to Epps and Epps shook his head. Lennox sighed.

"They are the Autobots." Lennox said as he looked at the large robots.

I took a couple steps towards the Autobots, then stopped. The tallest one knelt down in front of me and spoke.

"I am Optimus Prime. We are autonomous robotic organisms from the planet Cybertron." Optimus said as he gestured towards himself and the other Autobots.

"Autobots for short." One of the other Autobots added on.

"It's wonderful to meet you major." Optimus added as he looked back at me and stood up again.

"It's nice to meet you all." I said as I looked at all of them with a soft smile.

"You as well, Major." Another Autobot said.

"Come on, I'll show you around." Epps told me, nudging my shoulder.

"Alright." I said as I turned around.

Epps showed me around the hanger for N.E.S.T and explained what some of the rooms were used for. The tour took about 20 minutes and as me and Epps were walking back to the main room, Epps showed me pictures of the Autobots in their altmodes and told me all their names.

"How was the tour?" Lennox asked as me and Epps walked up beside him.

"It was good. Thank you." I said as I looked at Lennox, then at Epps.

"Good." Lennox said as he turned back to the Autobots.

I walked up to the desk and looked down at it. I saw an open file and noticed that whoever was working on it was struggling to figure it out. I grabbed the file and walked over to a whiteboard and grabbed one of the markers. I looked at the file, then I started writing on the whiteboard when Epps looked my way.

"Lennox." Epps said, glancing at Lennox.

"What?" Lennox asked, looking at Epps

"Look." Epps pointed towards me.

Lennox looked towards me and was about to protest, but stopped when he saw what I was doing. The two watched what I was doing for a couple minutes and when I stepped back to look at what I had written, Lennox started to walk towards me again. He stood quietly behind me as I finished what I was writing and I stepped back again. I read over everything I had written and I felt proud of myself. I had figured out the file.

"Damn." Lennox mumbled, Staring at the whiteboard.

I turned around quickly when I heard his voice.

"I-.. Sorry." I said, facing him.

"Why are you sorry? This is going to help us big time on our next mission." Lennox explained as he put a hand on my shoulder.

I looked at him and gave him a soft smile. Epps walked up and patted my back when Lennox took his hand off my shoulder.

"Looks like you don't need to prove yourself anymore. well done!" Epps smiled at me.

"Thanks, but what do you mean 'Prove Myself'?" I asked.

"He's normally tougher on the newbies until they prove themselves by doing something major." Epps explained and pointed to Lennox.

"I am not." Lennox glared at Epps.

"Yes you are." Epps argued back.

As the two started to bicker a little, I grabbed a pencil and a blank sheet of paper. I copied everything off of the whiteboard onto the paper for the file for later. Once I was done, I put the paper in the file, I put it back on the table, I put the pencil back and wiped down the whiteboard. I walked back over to Epps and Lenox and found them still bickering.

"Alright. That's enough." I grabbed Epps by his arm and lightly pulled him back.

"I need some help sorting my new room." I told Epps, then turned to Lennox.

"We will be Back in a bit." I said softly, knowing that he was a little frustrated with Epps.

I kissed Lennox on the cheek, then walked away with Epps behind me, asking a million questions. The only reason I kissed him was because it was a habit of mine with my parents. Anytime I was home and I would go out somewhere, I would always tell my parents that I would be back, kiss them on the cheek, then leave. As the realization came to me that I had just kissed my Colonel, William Lennox, I blushed hard out of embarrassment. I got to my room and opened the door. Epps followed me into my room, still asking questions.

"Epps. Stop. Please." I said, blush still visible on my cheeks.

Epps stopped and we started to organize my room, because whoever used it last left it a huge mess. I had left a couple of times to get some boxes to put all the random junk into. After a while I had forgotten that I had kissed Lennox on the cheek.

Lennox's POV

Me and Epps had started bickering about how I was "Tougher" on the newbies until they proved themselves. Within a couple minutes the topic changed and we were then bickering about something else, but I don't remember what. Soon, Y/N came back and she grabbed Epps' arm, pulling him back lightly.

"Alright. That's enough." She said as she pulled Epps back a little.

"I need some help sorting my new room." She told Epps then turned to me.

"We will be back in a bit." She said softly.

It's like she knew I was a little frustrated with Epps. I won't lie, I was a little, but her voice as she spoke softly washed all the frustration away. She then kissed me on the cheek and walked away with Epps tailing her asking a lot of questions. As they walked off, my cheeks started to fade pink into red. I figured it was just a habit she had from when she was younger and it was just an accident, but it didn't stop me from blushing. I had only known her for about 45 minutes, but she's so kind, soft, caring and pretty.
