"Damn, captain" one of Blade's crewmates laughed as he noticed the captain getting in the ship with his hair messy as hell and his neck full of hickeys like definitely the lady he passed the night with was really... passionate

"What can I say? She was insatiable" he smirked, making his crewmates laugh while they were working, ready to sail.

"Damn" Richard laughed "Insatiable? You even let her leave marks on you?" he asked as Blade was getting from one of the crewmater the report with everything the galleon got as supplies for their new adventures. They were planning to be on the sea for a month or two, so they had to be sure to have everything ready and possible extra supplies for any inconvenience.

"I'd usually cut their tongues when they dare to leave marks on me" Blade spoke with a smirk "But I let it slide... I got my revenge in... another way. It's more... entertaining when they bite". Richard laughed, giving him some pats on the shoulder amused by his behaviour.

Blade stopped as he noticed a wood carved figure standing on one of the barrels nearby the cannons "What's this?" he grabbed the figure and some crewmates got closer.

"Huh? Who brought it?" Eric tilted his head to then cross his arms and look at Famir "Youngie, did you do one of your stuff?"

"What? I am not that good! I can't carve... huh.." Famir smiled "It's a mermaid!"

"Right, Famir is trash at carving stuff, he'd cut his own fingers more than the piece of wood. Just look at his hands full of bandages" Leo commented amused by the young crewmate's annoyed face as he was swinging his knife unbothered.

Blade's stare got them silent "So, nobody can tell me how magically this... thing got in my ship?"

The crewmates looked at each others, having no idea what to reply.

"Maybe some of the villagers, a fisherman... wanted to give us something for a good luck charm?" Richard asked and Blade rolled his eyes

"Why that question tone? I wasn't in the ship." Blade drew his sword "Are you telling me no one was checking on the ship at night?!" he asked, showing a mad glance, making his crewmates feeling the tension of the situation

"Nono! It was one of the women of the tavern!" Eric laughed "She gave us... that" the man looked at his crew who nodded, hoping not to get killed or ordered to starve.

Nobody really knew how that thing got in their ship, considering most of them were drunk as hell.

"Well, Captain!" Famir's eyes were shining excited "We might want to keep it! Mermaids are sailors' protectors, maybe it's a lucky charm!" he smiled to then get a little elbow hit straight to his stomach from one of his crewmates.

Blade looked at the carved figure and he did swear he saw the eyes of the mermaid shining of a pure blue colour "What the... Curses" he swore to then throw it out of the galleon under Famir's sad stare.

"We don't need any luck or protection" Blade smirked "We are the terror of the Sea."

With that said, Blade got inside his private quarters, reading and checking the next route on his map.

After some time, Richard, the second officer of the galleon, entered in the room "We're ready to sail, captain"

Blade smirked as he took his boots off the table to stand up and walk out of his quarter.

"Following this route" Blade showed the map to Richard as he was holding the rudder "We will reach the Pirate's Guild city"

The Pirate's Guild city was in a lonely big island in the middle of the Gil's Sea. It was a neutral ground for all the pirates. Nobody could attack the other's crew, on the other hand, there were the meetings of the eight High Captains, the one who did possess the Pirate Guild's ring, symbol of the strenght and worst reputation acrosss the seas.
