15. I want to Keep you Here

"... A monster? And it managed to charm Dan Heng?" Richard was about to swear "FUCK" nevermind he did. He looked at Dan Heng into Blade's arms giggling at the reaction.

Blade sighed and tilted his head when Richard stepped closer and caressed Dan Heng's hair "Are you alright?" his green eyes were stuck into Dan Heng's big blue eyes, now shining again. Probably because he was once again back to his happy bubble.

"Enough" Blade stepped a little back and covered his face partially. Dan Heng tried to move off his hand, but the pirate captain kept it "He's still a little scared, that's why I am holding him"

Richard tilted his head and felt in awe.

Dan Heng was... still scared?

He looked at the merman who was giggling and he swore he could see little hearts and stars around him.

He laid the hand on his own forehead feeling his heart stolen "Let me take care of him, have you found a way to get out of here?"

Blade narrowed his stare "I can use my eyes and hold the merman at the same time." he turned and Richard stayed still for a moment asking himself what the hell was happening.

Since when Blade was that... calm when dealing with the merman? He was sure he thought Dan Heng was just his treasure and nothing else so he could just throw him at whoever as long as it wasn't annoying.

Blade moved a little towards his crewmates who were checking up the walls that moved previously with Dan Heng's song.

That song.

In that moment Blade flinched when he looked at Dan Heng playing with a strand of his long hair with red tips "Pretty face, what do you think you're doing?"

Dan Heng tilted his head to then smile warmly "Playing with hair! Mum said caring of someone's hair is love! Love? Lover!" he exclaimed, laying the cheek on Blade's strand of hair he was holding under the pirate's red eyes literally trying hard to keep a deadly stare towards the merman with hearts all around as he was just... not only back to be docile but maybe too much?

"You better stop that" Blade warned him and Dan Heng looked at him with a curious stare like he couldn't really feel how the pirate was trying to appear mad at him.

Blade wanted, for some reasons, to bite his hair just to release some of his frustration, and the thought that he couldn't because Richard and crew were there was killing him.

He didn't want to make those men see he was slowly losing power. All his crew was definitely into Dan Heng, that was clear. He theorically was the one who was keeping his priorities straight.

He didn't want to be just like all of them and end up in Dan Heng's web. That merman was just too dangerous.

But why, why did Dan Heng tell him those things.

Was it really just with him? Or was he feeling like he was dying also with Richard? Blade had no idea but he also asked himself why did he care to know the truth.

Fuck it, of course he wanted to know, but it wasn't the right moment.

Fuck that, also.

Blade felt really like everything was against him.

But at least the merman wasn't biting or crying to be left alone. He was spontaneously staying into his arms. If Blade wanted, he was sure he would have just let him do anything to him. How could that merman be that innocent still?

"Damn, captain looks like he's about to eat the merman" Eric laughed as Leo was crossing his arms, checking the little pond the walls moving showed on the floor.
