"Captain, we found an island, we will be able to reach it very soon!" Famir exclaimed happily to then notice Blade still playing with the pendant the merman had "Oh, I thought you would have thrown it"
Blade looked at the necklace "It has no value anyway, I was just searching for the seashell in those useless books" he muttered to then sigh "But nothing is close to this... Markets aren't interested in these things"
Famir crossed his arms "Maybe it's a seashell from the depht where no one reached so far" he said to then notice Blade standing up and walking outside
"I noticed we hadn't attacks" Blade said as he was playing still with the pendant
"Indeed!" Famir smiled as he got out of the quarters, reaching the dock with Blade "And it's so fascinating.." the young crewmate looked what they had in front.
An island where the sun rays were reaching and enlighting the territory even if the water around it was dark. It had so many forests and the crew could hear even birds' sound approaching.
"Damn" Blade smirked proudly "Good job you all, we might have found our next adventure. Not only we did survive at those monsters, but we managed to reach one of the unexplored islands in this cursed side of the world"
The crew cheered and and Blade ended up drinking with them, enjoying the moment to the fullest.
"One moment we're close to death, another we're back to be the Terror of the Sea" Richard played around. After all they were pirates, they knew their life was always in danger. Sure they still didn't believe they actually lost four of their companions, but no one really expected to meet sirens.
Blade was leaning to the edge of the galleon, looking at Richard taking care of the navigation.
"Eric managed to gather all those blue scales, they will go for a good price at the market once we will be back to the Pirate Guild's island" Richard said and Blade nodded a little
Dan Heng was literally there.
Following and sometimes peeking from the dark sea, with those shiny blue eyes at the galleon. A dolphin thought that he was playing a game with the humans so it ended up with both, merman and dolphin swimming underwater and then peeking.
"That's great... Maybe a shark has eaten that monster following his blood traces" Blade did actually hope it did happen "Have you noticed anything unusual? I heard it was pretty quiet navigation" he leant more towards the edge as he was swinging the necklace unbothered
Dan Heng's blue scaled ears twitched and he smiled once he noticed the necklace in the hands of the scary red eyes pirate.
Richard nodded "Totally fine... I thought we would get attacked or maybe we would see those monsters swimming anywhere nearby but no..." the officer sighed "It's weird... Why not trying another attack? Maybe indeed the pack leader got eaten by a shark"
Dan Heng was slowly moving his tail, trying to raise a little the tides and get a better height to try to leap and steal... Actually get back his necklace.
His plan in his mind was perfect. Rising a little the tides, leap, get the necklace and of course leave a grumpy stare at that pirate to teach him stealing from him was really rude. Actually, even trying to cut him was rude.
"I really think there must be something different! Didn't you notice the difference between the two songs? I really think that creature wasn't a siren, but a merman!" Famir said excited, joining the conversation and the two rolled their eyes
"You and your stupid tales, Famir. Get in your head, those creatures are monsters... They lure with their charming, beautiful appearances and voice..." Blade said, gnashing his teeth
