╰┈➤ Snow is the tears of stars. But your star will be too happy to cry as you spew poetic nothings. Your hands are in his, and nothing could be better.

                                    ─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ──

The snow is seen as a cruel and frigid force of nature. In spite of its foul nature, many are able to look beneath it to see its true beauty. You know for a fact that KAITO is among one of those people. He is regarded as a snow angel among some producers. To you, the snow is the tears of glittering stars that has condensed in the atmosphere to bless creatures below with the experience of a lifetime amidst snow and ice.

The flurries danced to the pure white ground, resting atop one another, all with a unique shape that many overlook. Your eyes watched as the snowflakes cinematically fell past lights of lampposts, leaving you in utter awe as the moon peeked out from behind the full clouds and the crying stars.
Those poor crying stars. You're familiar with one. He's your best friend and your beloved boyfriend, and to be fair, you're a bit obsessed with him. Like the night sky to the glittering stars, you're always in the background, idly looking over him with pure love.

In the white snow, that familiar star walked. You couldn't say where you were, but you knew you weren't far from Phoenix Wonderland. And in that stars eyes, you saw tears. Glittering snowflakes that danced to the ground as they fell from his jawline, his heavy feelings departing in the most beautiful of ways. The snow was too pure to see such a face, twisted by tears and burdens.
Just as KAITO would have done, you strode through the snow and held out a loving hand.

Tsukasa's head shot up as he finally finished drying his eyes. His slender fingertips were red with the frigid cold. You immediately pulled your hands from your gloves, rushing to place your gloves over his shaking hands. "Hello, my star." You began.
Tsukasa smiled at your voice. "No, no, keep them. Your hands will get cold." He argued, his voice nasally and hoarse.
You shook your head. "Not if you hold them. Here, there's a bench nearby. Wanna sit?" You eyed the convenient bench with a smiling expression.
Tsukasa nodded his head, his cheeks flushed from the chill in the air as he approached the pale wood bench. You sat first, patting the seat so that he would join you. And join you he did. He seated himself beside you, his palms opening like that of a blooming lotus. You placed your hands in his, and that was all you needed to feel warm.

"What's wrong?" You asked, using your dominant hand to dry the icy tears from his face.
Tsukasa snickered a tad. "Haha, I'm completely fine! You must be imagining things." His tone told you otherwise.
You gazed upon him, hearing the gentle and whimsical melody of a piano. Snowman. What a lovely musical masterpiece. Each time you see Tsukasa, you hear that orchestra. The piano sings and it hums its tunes in way only he could produce. Only Tsukasa's hands could accurately capture the essence of Snowman. What a beautiful thing that is.

"Kasa," you placed your hands into his once again. Tsukasa's head fell onto your shoulder. "This reminds me of our song. You know that one, the one KAITO sings to us."
"Snowman?" As he asked this, the softest part of the melody rang in your head like the most heavenly tones of music itself. It was just the melody, but you could hear it. The lyrics, their composition, and their meaning— all of it was there.
You nodded. "Yep. That's the one. You look just as pretty as that song."
Hearing this brought a smile to Tsukasa's lips, his face flushing a tad more prominently than before. "Really?" He laughed a bit. "Then you're as pretty as a piano."
"Thank you, my love," you kissed the top of his sunset-colored hair. "Hmm, then I guess you'll just have to be as beautiful as the stars. You're the most gorgeous star of all."

Tsukasa glanced up from his resting position on your shoulder. "They're too pretty for that."
Hearing his waning confidence made your heart sink. "A butterfly can't see its own wings..?" You murmured.
The star beside you laughed at that. A snort through his nostrils and a small giggle, to be precise, but it was a lovely sound. You melted into him. "I love that sound. More than I love music, and more than I will ever love anything that I will ever lay eyes upon."
Tsukasa's eyebrows knitted with an expression of shock upon his perfect features. "Why are you being so poetic?!"
"Haha, I don't know, just in that weird mood." You confessed while ruffling Tsukasa's hair. He's normally very particular about who is allowed to touch his hair, seeing how he spends a surplus of time on it every single day. But with you, it's different. He likes when you ruffle his hair, creating endless misplaced hairs and a weird-puffy effect. He enjoys it when you hold his face before you kiss him. He loves it when you act like he's a deity above all, and he loves you as a whole. You are his soulmate, and he would have it no other way than that.

"___, we're destined to be soulmates in every universe." Said Tsukasa's sweet voice, his tone oddly gentle. He placed his hands against his chest, taking yours with his and holding them close. He then looked deep into your eyes.
You comfortably stared back, sighing into the sight of the snow and your first and only love. "Yeah, we are. I want to be with you in every lifetime." You confessed. The weight of your words nearly sent your tongue stumbling over enunciation.
Tsukasa smiled softly from ear-to-ear. "I'll make sure to find you every time." The weight of his words nearly destroyed you. You absorbed the tone of his voice and the way he looked so gently upon you. Your eyes threatened to water. Love makes you feel so soft and weak, yet so strong and able. Love isn't just a concept to you anymore, it's now an entire being, a being that holds your hands in his and gazes into your eyes like you're the entire world.

You leaned into Tsukasa's warmth. "How many languages do you speak?" You whispered your question.
"Japanese and English," replied Tsukasa. "Why, though? That's a random question." He asked, though he didn't seem to really care why you asked.
"I don't know." you snickered a bit. "I just wish those languages had enough words to describe how beautiful you are. I wish there was a word for you. Just everything that you do and everything that you are."
Tsukasa wrapped his arms around you. You embraced him tightly, leaning into the delicate kiss that he placed on your jawline. His lips left a warm, tingling sensation on your skin. "But there is! It's star!"
His lovable confidence had returned. You smiled broadly. "Yes, yes, it is. You're a star, so human and so perfect in every way. I love those little mistakes. How you laugh hysterically whenever you fall— and you somehow always manage to get food on the corner of your mouth whenever you eat. You're so perfectly human."

Tsukasa laughed under his breath, his breaths rising in the frigid air. "How am I supposed to take that?" He questioned.
You squeezed him close to you, sliding your hand into his the moment you got the chance to. "It means that you're so perfect because you're human— you're a twinkling little star. You're perfect."
Your words were met with misty eyes as Tsukasa nodded his head slowly. "...thank you." He replied in a hushed voice.
You placed a kiss on his soft, sweet lips. Tsukasa leaned into your touch, smiling through the kiss as he did so. You watched the sight as Tsukasa shut his eyes, grinning toothily from ear-to-ear as his ears flushed red with excitement and happiness.

Two lips connected, two hands pressed together, two bodies close together, and two hearts happily resonating together.. a once in a lifetime opportunity. This was your lifetime. He is your lifetime, your one in a million. That was all the stars needed to stop their tears, the last of their snowflakes falling to the ground around you and Tsukasa while wrapped in a tight hug. It was late. Your parents were definitely worried and probably angry, but your heart chirped and sang at Tsukasa and he alone. Your home could wait.

You knew what you wanted. You asked him to sing for you. His soft spoken singing voice accompanied by breathy inflection gave your blood a whole new kind of rush that it loved so dearly. Even your heart was healed by him, your soul soothed, your everything so content— and you know he feels the same.

That's all the two need; each other. All it takes is two. One person can make everything so much better, just please, never stop looking for the right one.
