Chapter 8
Nathaniel's POV
I see Justin rolling into Skai's driveway. I open the door and sit he looks at me and i can see the fear in his eyes.
"Drive" I command and he looks back before speeding off
"wtf are you doing here?? I've only gone a week and you already wanna steal my girl like the fvck ??
the deal was six weeks and she'll be mine don't ever go near her again" I say he nods
"Nice we've come to an agreement, just bear in mind that you really don't want to get on my wrong side again" I say and pat his head he pulls up to the curb and let me out. I walk back home, I'm not home long when the doorbell rings and i see Skai with a bottle of champagne nice surprise. I let her in and trail behind her
" Fancy seeing you here thought you had plans" I say in a sardonic tone
"They changed" she says with a shrug and adds "so how about that movie?" I smirk
" Gimmie a sec" i say first i change then as I pass my room of adoration i remember to close it. I'm now comfortably dressed in a shorts and vest. I go downstairs and find hat Skai already started the movie, popped popcorn, opened the champagne and was munching on a strawberry. I sit beside her on the couch and she looks over.
"What too scared to come closer?" she says teasingly
and I get up as if I'm about to walk away before turning around and lifting her up by the waist and spinning her around. She laughs, together we fall into the couch and she stop laughing awareness running through her, she stares at me before leaning in and kissing me. At first I'm to surprised to react but when i recover i move us both into a sitting position and my hands move up her leg to the hem of her skirt. Sliding it up farther i see her pink lace underwear. My hand moves to her hips caressing her while her hands lace through my hair. I pull away
"Sorry" I said in a husky voice
she gives me a puzzled look before asking
"What are you sorry for ?"
"I didn't meant to go so far" I say gesturing to her appearance, she looks at herself her shirt now unbuttoned and her bra is showing. Self consciousness seeps in and she wraps her shirt around herself and stands
"I-- I have to goive me " she says and hurriedly starts to fix herself
I grab her hand steadying it
"Stay.... please" i beg
She give me a pained expression and sighs
"Ok"
I give her the couch and move to the floor and we continue to watch the movie. Soon i hear her snoring softly i lift her up and take her to my bedroom. I undress her and look at her intently then i find my self touching her as my hand skims over her birthmark I struggle to regain control before taking a t-shirt and covering her. After turning on the A/c i clean up and make my bed on the couch

i hear shuffling and open my eyes to Skai leaning over to kiss me good bye. i hear gasp as I hold her to me and say
"Be mine"
She looks at me incredulously as it dawns on her what I'm asking
"Yes" she says with a smile
I then crush my lips against her pulling her as close as possible. She breaks away then she rest her head against my chest. we cuddle there until we fall asleep. I awake to lavender smelling hair. She misconstrued what i mean by be mine i meant forever but no need to rush. I'll take it slow with her besides just finished preparing things and Justin who should be at the head office is here trying to steal my girl . I swear i'll kill him if he goes near her again and if his lips venture near hers again he will die a tortured death, well its the least I could do he i my best friend. We share everything EXCEPT MY SKAI. I had dibs on her and I still wont give her up at the end of 6 weeks if she hasn't become my wife no not without a fight
