Kamen Rider Masked Rider AU

(I got back into Tokusatsu. I know this is basically power rangers the same company just a property we couldn't adapt her that well. Kamen rider anyone?) 

People were  turning into monsters, or monsters just appearing in the halls only for someone with an astronaut motif with strange attachments appear.  It was odd but it was too common within the school. 

When they jumped you all in the public he started fighting them on his own. 

"I've had this role for years."  You did the math and figured out when he gained the mantle and it made too much sense. The youthful and childlike energy when the hero first appeared.  And he looked away at your stare. 

As a student, he was chosen for this role. He took it seriously only to be rewarded near the end of his school year. The attacks happened around the city but more frequently around the school escalating, . Atticus did his best to avoid collateral damage, connect with people, and protect his identity, But when he failed and was exposed he was punished for the good he was done.  He was expelled the blame for all of the damage despite the monsters behind it appearing before he took on the responsibility.  "Having a student life is out of the question... I do increase the odds...by staying here. " He accepted it and walked out actually hated by his peers.

He was an odd kid, but reliable before the monsters and the rider in white showed up. He was doing his best to arrive on time but just so happened to disappear before this ' Masked Rider' showed up. You were his friend and could easily piece it together and confront him.

Originally when he arrived people thought he was going to be the troublemaker, the badboy...he easily subverted that expectation

"I understand it looks like a bunch of toys. " Looking at the belt he needed for the transformation  with all of the switches he had to attach to it. " They're the switch attachments.." 

"If I don't shout out the name, I can't transform. The explosion behind me just releases the energy. " He defended the most ridiculous actions as the "Rider." Learning the logic to the technology.  " Just go with it. Learn a little and be my mission control."

He was flipping a switch again, and again, it was irritating. Constantly at his desk again and again. It was a coping mechanism and annoying for everyone else. 

"I proved myself, and he gave it to me." He refused to talk about the man behind the device, the Driver... "I gave myself the rules and he gets back to me on what happens. "

He was insisting that the two of you would be friends at the end of this. It was annoying with his optimism. 

"There's been riders fighting for people for decades.  It's just that some people think we're... rumors. But we've been there.."

You looked at his bike, which fit in with his theme that he was driving around out of costume. And he shrugged at your stare." I call it Major Tom. Thought about calling it cosmic Fury.."

He was messing with  you after he transformed.
