Sunghoon's POV:

I went out of university and made my way towards my home..knowing exactly who I was gonna see there..my dad..

I was a bit late cause I was taking an extra class..it was around 7:30 now..
As I came closer to my house,anger started to build inside me..I could see Jay's Dad's car parked in front of our house which made me even more sure that my Dad is finally here..

I slowly opened the door and went inside completely ignoring the talking sounds from the living room beside the wall..I was passing through when I heard a voice..

"Sunghoon-ah! it's been a long time.." when I turned around I was embraced in a tight hug from my father..but I didn't move..I couldn't..

"let go of me.." I slowly said. 


No one's POV:

Jay and his dad came outside too..Jay was cautious Just in case Sunghoon acts up..

"Let go of me now.." Sunghoon said slowly yet again.

His dad finally released him from the hug..
Sunghoon's Mom came outside and stood near too..not bothering to look at the father and son.

"Son..how have you been?"
"Why do you care?" 

Gasps were heard from the sudden cold answer..even Sunghoon's mother was shocked..she never expected him to act like that..

"Look Sunghoon..I know it's been a long time..but you know Dad loves you..don't act like that please.." 

"You do? dosen't seem that way..both you and her don't care..I am nothing to you.." he said pointing towards his mother..

"Sunghoon-ah I know you are mad at us but we are family son..we love you-"
"I know! I know you are family and I love you..but you're terrible..you are all terrible.."

"Sunghoon quit it!" Jay quickly held his cousins wrist who was on the verge of crying and made his way upstairs towards Sunghoon's room.

After they were finally inside Sunghoon's room Jay pushed his cousin back and closed the door.

"ARE YOU FOR REAL SUNGHOON!?"

"why! I didn't say anything wrong!"

"I know you're angry but you didn't have to act like that..he's your father.."

"I freaking don't care!!"

with that Sunghoon opened the door and went downstairs to the living room which was still shocked and quite from his replies earlier. he opened the door and all the worried eyes were on him..Jay came running after him.

"Sunghoon-"
"If you ever thought of me as your son you wouldn't have left me like that!! how dare you act like you care!!" 

"Sunghoon Please..I'm so sorry but it wasn't easy for me-"
"You could have stayed here and made things right!! you didn't have to leave!"
"I know I made a mistake Son..but please undertstand.."
"why am I always supposed to understand?!"
"stop with the yelling now! is this how I taught you to speak!!"

Sunghoon smiled bitterly through his tears..
"Finally..This is who my dad is..how would you ever be understanding..you never were.."
"Park Sunghoon!"
"You were gone when I needed you the most..now you come back and act like nothing happened..how am I supposed to accept?"

The boy looked up..his eyes bloodshot and body weak..his hands now trembling slightly..

"You wanted me dead instead of Hyeonwoo remember? you wanted me dead instead of that jerk-" 

slap

"Just because you are my own blood dosen't mean you get to call Hyeonwoo like that..apologise.."

The boy stood there with his palm on his cheek..

"D-do you even know what I went through?" 
Sunghoon spoke slowly and stumbled backwards..Jay held him from the shoulders to prevent him from loosing his balance..

"You don't know what h-he did to me..You don't know how much I took in just to keep you happy.."

He fell on his knees and Jay kneeled down to his level and kept carrasing his back to clam him down a bit..

"Sunghoon-"
"Jay Hyung..Please take me from this place..I don't want to stay.."

Jay quickly nodded and helped him stand up and took him out of the room..Jay was just around 4 to 5 months older than Sunghoon but when he calls him 'hyung',It's a hint to Jay that he's in need of his help..

"Let the kid stay at my place for some time.." Jay's father spoke to Sunghoon's father..

"But-"

"You saw how the situation is..let him stay with Jay till he calms down..I don't want the kid to suffer because of your descisions.."

"Alright...."

NEXT DAY:

Jay's POV:

I decided to wake up early since I needed to do some assignments which were due today..once  I got up I went to the guest room to check on Sunghoon..

I opened the door quitely and saw that he was still asleep..ofcourse my cousin isn't dumb like me that keeps the assignments to the due date to finish them..

I started working on my assignment while sipping on the coffee I just made..about in an hour I was done with the assignment..I closed my laptop and put my papers in the file..

I was finally gonna stand..

"AHhh! you scared me Park Sunghoon! I thought you are asleep..?"

Sunghoon was leaning on the wall near the couch and was just staring into nothing..

"I woke up to your tiptoeing..it's noisy as hell.."

"Oh..ahem..ok anyways..what are you doing..just sleep some more I'll wake you up at 7am.."
"No..it's ok..I'll just study for today's test a little more.."
"WE HAD A TEST?!?!"
"You didn't know? anatomy..?"

I'm dead meat..

"I'll help you.."

"How? I didn't prepare anything hoon..I'll just fail I guess.."
"the assignment you just did..those are the topics in the test..just review them and I'll share some short revision notes with you..those shall be enough.."
"You are a savior lil bro-"
"Don't call me that!"
"Oh yeah sorry.."

We studied together till 7 am..well basically him studying and me cramming..
after that we got ready and left for University..I still didn't tell Sunghoon that I spoke to Jake yesterday..


"Hey Hoon.."

"What?" guess no speaking today..he seems to be in a bad mood..
"Nothing.."

Sunghoon's POV:
I hope stupid people don't bother me today..cause my head is paining as shit from all the crying yesterday..and not sleeping till 4AM not to mention helping Jay early morning to study..

Oh here you go someone is already running towards us..wait....Jake?

I watched as he came towards us and Jay gave him a smile and waved..
"Good morning Jake.." 
"Morning Jay..and hoon.."

Hoon? why is he suddenly being sweet?or am I dreaming?

"Goodmorning.." I wanted to sound happy but I sounded plain..but nevermind..Jake hates me anyways..

"Hey you could atleast smile.." Jay elbowed me

" I'm not in the mood Jay..I'll go ahead I have to make introductions with student council.."

"Oh you got into Student council..congrats hoon!" Jake said sweetly like he always used to when we were younger..But it felt weird..just yesterday he said to stay away from him and now he's here congratulating me? dosen't make much sense..

"why are you doing that Jake?"
"Doing what?" 
"Treating me like I exist.."

I heard him gasping..I didn't mean to say that..

"Hyaa! what's with you..Jake let's go to the cafeteria and get some Ice tea..this hot headed guy needs to chill out a little.."

Jay took a now shocked Jake with him..

I siged and went ahead to student council..I don't know why I'm acting like this..
