*NEXT DAY*

No one's POV:

Jay dropped Jungwon and others at their homes and returned to Sunghoon who was sitting outside the hospital zoning out..They still had classes on the weekend but none of them were going anyways..or maybe someone was?

"C'mon let's go..eat something and get some rest, Jake wouldn't like to see you being miserable when he wakes up.." He said and started pulling Sunghoon with him when the younger didn't answer him.

Sunghoon just follows easily without speaking a word and sits in Jay's car..Jay makes his way to the driver's seat and puts on his seatbelt..

"Atleast speak..cry if you want to Sunghoon..don't be so quiet.." Jay sighs at the lack of response from his cousin and starts driving..

As soon as Jay stops his car Sunghoon quickly unbuckles his seatbelt and walks out..

Jay opens the glass window
"rest today..and please eat.." he says and closes the window and drives to his own house..

Sunghoon goes inside and is met with the sight of his worried parents..

"Sunghoon-ah you must be tired..freshen up and eat something okay and don't worry about anything..Jake will be alright hm?" the father says as he hugs his son in hope of giving him some comfort..

He looks back at his mom and she nods agreeing to his father..

"I'll be quick..I need to go..my classes start at 11AM..it's already 9.." Sunghoon says which catches his parents offguard..

"Kiddo..just rest today.." Sunghoon mom says concerned at her son's way of speaking..

"I don't want to miss any classes and theirs something I need to do..it's important.." He says.

His father sighs.."Alright if you say so.."

With that Sunghoon does his routine normally, haves his breakfast and leaves for university almost acting as if nothing has happened..his parents exchange concerned glances after he leaves the house..

Upon entering the university his eyes automatically make their way to the direction sign of the cafeteria..he remembers how their first destination in the morning was not their class but the cafeteria..

He made his way towards the direction the board was pointing and enters..it was filled with students..but it made his heart ache when he realised not even one of his friends were present their..ofcourse they were all so tired after yesterdays unfortunate event..

After scanning the cafeteria for a bit he walks towards his class..

*AFTER TWO CLASSES ARE OVER*

Sunghoon needed to meet a proffessor today..Mr.Hong..

The Man was also the incharge of handelling foreign exchange matters..

He knocks on the office door and enters when he hears a 'come in'..

"Oh Park Sunghoon it is..you E-mailed me telling you had something to discuss about the foreign exchange program right?"

"Yes, Mr.Hong.."
"Ok tell me.."

"The four year program for freshers..is it still available?" 

"Ofcourse it is..I'm glad you considered it young man..I personally recommended You and Ms.Hanni for the freshers program and our SC president Lee Heeseung for the 2 year study and internship program..both of them have submitted their applications and are already interviewed.."

"Oh..so I guess I'm a bit late for it.."
"No not at all..you can stay for the interview today if you like..day after tomorrow is the last day and you guys need to leave in a week.."

"I understand Sir..I'll go to the interview today.."
"Very well" 

Sunghoon bowed and left but one thing bothered him..Heeseung is going too? 

*AFTER THE CLASSES* 

Sunghoon made his way to the room where the interview was held and took a deep breath before knocking on the door and entering..

Saying the interview went well would be an understatement..his professor was more than impressed with how confidently he answered all the questions asked to him..

After the interview he recieved a pat on his back by Mr.Hong telling him how good he was and was handed a letter which asked for the consent of the parents and stated all the rules to be followed and documents to be submitted..

Sunghoon went back home and sighed deeply..knowing very well what kind of a descision he made..

Sunghoon's POV:

Jay and others will hate me for this..and I guess Jake will to as he wakes up..

but this needs to be done..me being around is somehow hurting others..yeah you may think I'm being overdramatic but in my point of view this is the right thing..yesterday felt like Hyeonwoo's accident all over again..except this time it was someone who loved me and cared for me..

I let my overthinking get the best of me and made Jake all worried..and in an attempt to cheer me up..He got hurt..

I don't pity myself though..it was my mistake I thought I could live happily and make others happy..Jake just turned 21 last week..at such a young age he's in a coma and we can only pray for him to wake up soon..all because of his shitty boyfriend who can't even protect himself..

I feel so guilty right now..wow..am I freaking cursed?

Everyone must be sure now that I'm really some cursed thing that's just making their life harder..no really..what is my existence even doing? who is benefitted from me? I only burden others and hurt others..

It's better to dissapear..living as if I'm dead is better..

No one's POV:

Sunghoon goes to his dad and sits in front of him..

"I need to discuss something with you.."
"Go on son.." His mom comes in and joins as well

Sunghoon hands him the folder..his dad puts on his specs and goes through the document carefully and his mom gets concerned seeing her husband's eyes widen..

"Sunghoon..I can't permit this.."
"Please..it's a rare opportunity and Prof.Hong personally recommended me.."

"B-but this..son why?! your university is the no.1 in the nation! you don't have to!"

"I have to dad..I'm leaving in a week please sign it.."
"I'm not..I'm not permitting this at all.."

"Please do..this is the only way I'll be able to survive.."

"Park Sunghoon!..enough with this..you're not going anywhere.."

"dad please.." Sunghoon almost cried when his mom suddenly spoke..

"Let him go Honey..it states that it's a four year program so he'll be back for internship here..right son?" 

"I will.." Sunghoon said..atleast he'll stay away for four years and maybe Jake will then move on from him and start his own life without him again..

"Fine..I'm considering this as an early birthday gift for you then..and also since your mom insists I'll allow this..but promise me you'll get back here for internship.."

"I promise I'll be back.."

"Alright then.."

His dad signs the document and hands it over to him..

The next day Sunghoon hands the document over to prof.Hong and begins his packing for next week..He still hasn't told anyone about this..he decided he'll tell everyone the day before he will be leaving..cause if he told earlier..knowing his friends they'll do anything to stop him..

wait,I can make my friends hate me can't I?
even if it dosen't work I'll try still..
Me being here with them is bad luck..no..I'm bad luck..
