Jake's POV:
 I went to the cafeteria with Jay and we took ice tea..I was still processing what Sunghoon told..Oh he's so mad at me..this is gonna take some work to warm him up towards me..but maybe not..Sunghoon has always been forgiving..

"Jake..stop thinking so much..Sunghoon didn't mean that.."
Jay patted my shoulder.

"I know but..I'm sure he's mad at me.."
"His dad is back from USA after two years..that's who he's so mad at.."
"really?oh..it must be hard for him already and I'm making it worse by bothering him.."
"No..don't think like that Jake..you and Jiho are the only ones he cannot be mad at..ever.."

I didn't know what more I should say..I just nodded in reply..I regret every harsh words I ever said to Sunghoon..I must have hurt him so much..but don't you worry Hoon..
I'm gonna make you mine again...ahem! I mean my best friednd..

I was just zoning out sipping on my tea when I got a slap from back causing me to almost choke..Damn Geonu..

"HEY JAKEE!"  He squealed.
"what the hell Geonu?" 

"Guess what happened?" He looked at me with literal hearts forming in his eyes..
"uh? something related to Heeseung Hyung?"
"Yes but be more specific.." he crossed his hands and was smirking..
"well..did he finally reject you?"
"NO HE ASKED ME OUT ON A DATEEE!!" He squealed in happiness and took my ice tea..

"A study date to be exact.." Daniel spoke from behind Geonu..
"a study date?"
"apparently..Geonu here asked Prez if he could just study together with him and he agreed.."
"Oh so that's what happened.." 
I smirked playfully at Geonu..

"You see guys..we are gonna date soon..I personally assure you of that..!"
"But how he just agreed to study with you..and you guys aren't even in the same major.."Daniel said.

"Hey..I think Heeseung hyung actually took an intrest in Geonu..normally he dosen't like to study around people.." I said from my limited knowledge of Heeseung hyung..
"wow haha..Geonu is not that stupid anymore I guess.." Daniel took a bite from his sandwich and nodded in approval..

I decided to bring Sunghoon's topic up..maybe they can help me..
"Hey guys..uhm..actually I wanted to apologise to someone.."
"Ice guy?"
"well...yeah was it that obvious that it was him?"
"I knew someday you'll eventually wanna talk to him.." Geonu said and Daniel nodded..
"Wow..guess I'm the only stupid one here.." 
"Hey don't think like that..buy him something he likes and apologise.."
 "I was so harsh to him recently..it'll take some time.."
"I'm sure he'll forgive you.."
"I hope so too..I'll meet him today after class if possible.."

Sunghoon's POV:

Today was so busy..I finally came out of the university and was tying my shoes when I heard a tiny voice from my back..

"Hey.."
I turn back to the very familiar voice..
"Jake?"
"Can we talk?"
"you wanna talk? to me?"
"Yeah..can we go to that children's park over there? it's nice.."
"uh..sure.."

He nodded beckoning to a direction and I followed..think of it..Jake has been speaking normally to me ever since the morning..

we reached at the park and he went ahead and sat at an empty bench and motioned me to come and sit..
I was confused but sat beside him..

"I'm sorry.."

sorry? did I hear this right?

"why?"
"I was wrong Sunghoon..I misunderstood you..I'm sorry.."
"I..I don't understand..why? just recently you said-"
"I'm sorry Hoon..I didn't know..the truth.."

I don't know what to say..Jake is apologising to me? 

Jake's POV:

I can't say from his expressions if he's angry,happy confused or stunned..I hope I didn't make him more mad than he already was..
after some seconds he spoke up..

"Is this..You you are not pranking me are you now?"

"Hoon..I'm sorry I really am..I should have listened to you and spoke to you earlier..I don't know how to make things right..I just want you back as my bestfriend again..I'll do whatever you say,if you don't wanna be friends with me then I understand as well..I've hurt you after all-"

I was suddenly engulfed in a warm hug..my tensed body instantly relaxed..the hug that lasted for some split seconds in the freshers party now lasted for a longer time..

"sorry Jakey..sorry I never told you the truth.."
"Hoon..you have nothing to apologise for..if something then all of us should be apologising to you now..I can't imagine what you went through..and I'm so ashamed I wasn't there for you.."
"I need you Jake..I need you so much..this means a lot..thanks for talking this out with me..I needed this so bad.."
"I will always be there.."
"..Promise?"
"Promise.."

Finally..my bestfriend is mine again..He instantly forgave me while I ignored him for two years straight and hurt him when he was just trying to explain the truth..
well,It has always been him..the one who forgave easily and didn't hold grudge against anyone..


"Wanna hang out at the mall?"  He asked and I agreed immedietly..it's been so long since we hung out..
"hang on let me call Ji-ho too.."
"Okay! don't tell him we sorted things out..let's give him a little surprise.."  I smirked at the idea..Ji-ho would be dumbfounded but happy..and I'll apologise to him too..

On the call: 
"Hey Ji-ho?"

"Jake? what's wrong?"

"Nothing..can't I call you when everything's right?"

"yea but I thought you were mad.."

"wanna hangout at the mall?"

"who else is coming?"

"uh..Jay? and Heeseung Hyung.."

"Oh..uh..ok fine I'll be there in ten.."
