The next few days were hectic, to say the least.

There was a lot of traveling to and from locations and sets for the introduction/teaser video and it was getting exhausting, working all hours of the day and night to get the video, recorded edited, and out on such short notice. Luckily (y/n) was no stranger to running on fumes and felt quite comfortable, minus the soul-destroying workload that had been thrust upon him. A small price to pay in the long run, at least that's what he was telling himself so that he wouldn't have a mental breakdown from all the work.

January 27th 2023

"Just Get to Monday and then you're back to the normal schedule and things will be easier I promise."
Mr Seong was busy trying to motivate (y/n) to continue working, because as much as he tried to hide it, even (y/n) was starting to feel the weight of the work he could talk a big game and put on a front, but he knew he had his limits. And he was starting to hit them.

They were on the mid-section of the recording, the flights with equipment to the UK and back were long and expensive, so they built large wooden models to create the feeling of a British estate, which would also later be used for some music videos. The first part, (y/n)'s childhood and finding his love for music was done, and the mid-section was focused on the death of his love of music and the things he had done and had done to him which was currently in its final stages, finally, the last section, his arrival in Korea, his re-established love for music had been recorded on the first day of recording since it was the easiest to encapsulate.

"This better be worth it, it's so awkward acting for this thing."
(y/n) sighed, he knew it was necessary to help him gain some extra traction and build anticipation, but watching two kids pretending to be him was making him cringe slightly, not because they were bad, but because people were gonna know about his life before he even had a chance to meet them himself.

It was like he was being thrown a pity party.

"Hey we don't have to watch here anymore right?"

(y/n) had a mischief to his voice, something Mr Seong picked up on immediately nodding his head slightly, apprehension already written all over his face.

"Yes... that's right... Why?"

He hesitated asking the question, teenagers were always hard to work with, especially when they wanted to play around.

"I have some Ideas for extra shots for the introduction video... but I'll need help obviously. plus it isnt really legal so..."

Mr Seong sighed...

"Will it make the video more personal to you?"
Although hesitant, he appreciated (y/n)'s attitude to his success, and he was rather fond of the boy... he was the culmination of talent and what would be hard work.

"Definitely!"
(y/n) grinned knowing he had already won.

"As long as you hide your face then. They can't claim its you without the images of your face."

"YES!"

Soon enough, a driver arrived to take them to an abandoned railway and the setup a phone camera, a stylistic choice made to make the video look more... amateur.

Shots taken of (y/n) walking on the track like it was a tightrope, holding his ukulele as he did so.

"(y/n), tell me some stuff about yourself, things you enjoy what you find interesting. As your manager I need to know you better so I can make sure everything I do is in your interest."

Mr Seong was secretly recording, a microphone hidden in his lapel.

"Hmmmm I'll tell you everything I guess, interview style."
(y/n) grinned.

"My name is (y/n) (y/l/n) and I'm 18 years old"

The young man looked up thoughtfully trying to articulate his limited Korean.

"I come from Manchester, England and I moved to Korea 4 days ago."

He climbed on top of an old rundown cargo hold

"Some interesting things about me are... I like to listen to music on full volume only, I think it's better when you can't hear the outside world because then you never know if someone is talking about you behind your back."

Mr Seong let out a soft chuckle and a softer smile. (y/n) jumped down from the cargo hold.

"For a while, when I quit music I thought I didn't deserve the happiness it brought and I grew to resent it... But now I know that the best thing I can do is: Run from the person who I thought I should be. But honestly, I'm still learning about myself so that's kinda tricky..."

They moved further down the track, telling the driver to loop around as they approached an abandoned warehouse, climbing to the roof as the sun was setting. (y/n) had to admit, despite what he thought. Mr Seong was fit and had no problems, recording (y/n) climbing the ladders and getting a scenic shot of him looking over the city scape as the sunset cast his shadow .

"Thank you for this Mr Seong... I used to do stuff like this all the time back home... getting to do it here makes it feel a little less far away."

(y/n) was unaware but some of the things he had said throughout the day had been recorded, Mr Seong had manged to record him in his most honest moments but it was all to be added to the video and make it more... real.

"We should head back (y/n). It's getting dark."

(y/n) nodded and the pair began to descend from the warehouse roof and met the driver towards the exit of the old worksite, who drove (y/n) back to his dorm.

"All of the recording is done. You just have to sit and give feedback on the stuff the creative teams send you and you'll be done completely. You have a Korean class tomorrow as well as some meetings to get ready for your first studio album. No doubt you already have stuff prepped for that though I assume."

(y/n) grinned

"I think so, I will get some input to make it more... recent. But I have all of the beats ready made that I want to use."

"Good. Rest well for your day tomorrow."

(y/n) nodded and climbed out of the backseat, going up to his dorm and getting on his PC to play some games. He had requested an account region transfer for most of his major accounts pre-emptively and was ready to forfeit his life over a game of Valorant.

Thank god they sound proofed the walls.
