{(Y/N)'s POV}

[5:00AM]

Well. Everything is packed. Well, the stuff I'm keeping at least. Unc would be coming to take the rest of the stuff as a gift for a family who needed it, something I asked especially so it wasn't wasted.

It was short-lived, but my time here was... fun. I made some good memories and I'll remember them for as long as I live, but the new place looked sick as fuck from the pictures I got shown so I'll get over it.

It was a tad smaller, but honestly, the trade-off of having friends literally 5 minutes away made it worth it.

I took my phone out, took a picture for Instagram, and hit it with the caption:
"Moving faster than a squatter who got caught"

I put my more expensive clothes folded neatly into a box, throwing the rest of them into a duffel bag I bought for the gym, and leaving them by the door. I turned around and took one last look at the place, taking in the emptiness of the rooms before putting the bag on my back and lifting the box of clothes, carrying them to a van downstairs.

The moving company drove the stuff across town, and I followed behind in an uber, after leaving both sets of keys at the reception of the old building.

Now it's important to note. This move was by no means cheap. In fact, the company went half's with me to get it, since I'm a fairly new talent and I will work off the remainder of the debt over time.

Luckily, the sales of all three albums I released, Lucid dreams, with shared profits. And the two independent ones which Mr Park was gracious enough to let me keep to myself, allowed me to do this. Albeit, leaving a huge dent which would take a lot to fill. But it was mine. Well technically ours until I payed it off completely. But not owing a bank anything is cool.

Now, as much as I was interested in the apartment, I made sure not to research the location to make the reaction as real as possible for the camera. Look at me learning the tricks of the trade. I sat on my phone, waiting to arrive and scrolled through old pictures, all the way from home, to meeting Rachel and everyone else along the way. Such a sappy loser.

After arriving, I helped the movers carry some of the heavier things up the stairs, because who the fuck designed such a small elevator. It was like trying to put a whale in fish tank. But after 12 trips up and down 4 flights of stairs. We were done. I'd have left a tip but... I'd be budgeting hard after buying furniture. I need to invest or get paid illegally or something.

[10:27AM]

I walked in through the front door and was in awe.

Don't get me wrong. It was empty as shit.

It was like someone had come in and picked it clean of everything. I double checked the camera was rolling, before heading in further. The living room was once again spacious, the kitchen a little smaller, but just as modern as the last and there was enough room to fit in a dining table.

There was a big window, overlooking the Han river with a small balcony, complete with two chairs and a table which honestly barely fit, no fucking wonder it cost me my liver to afford this place. The location was insane. Not to mention the facilities near by. I wouldn't have to walk 20 minutes to the gym anymore, it was now across the street in some fancy building.

I stepped back inside and headed down a hallway, there was 4 doors.

The first, was a bathroom. It had a toilet with a bidet. A god damn bidet. That was the true sign I had made it. As well as a nice waterfall shower. A small bougie bathtub too, but baths aren't my thing.

I stepped back out, the door opposite, was a cupboard, it had a lot of room for jackets, shoes, ironing board... the mature things.

The third door was a little more interesting. It was fairly small, but had a lot of potential, it had a nice window and could probably fit a few people in with the right layout. This would make a great office.

Finally, the moment of truth.

The final room was of course, my future room. I stood in the center, and saw a door, opening it up left me even more confused, one side, was closet space, the end had a big mirror mounted to the wall and there was yet another door, opening it up revealed yet another, albeit smaller bathroom, with another waterfall shower. The designer was really feeling them at the time huh...

That prick so edited the pictures to make it look smaller.

Before any more exploration could be completed, there was a knock at the door

"I've been here for a whole 10 minutes. There is no way I'm getting complaints already."

I marched to the door, opening it slowly as the black wood was surprisingly heavy, only to be greeted with the smiling faces of... Danielle and Haerin? How did they even... Whatever.

"Welcome to my not humble abode."

I took a dramatic bow as I held the door open for the pair.

"What brings you two here?"

Honestly, it was obvious. Everyone had been on edge with me since that night and looking out for me more. But couldn't blame em really.

"Thought we'd welcome our new sort of neighbor!"

Danielle was as excitable as ever, but I could tell Haerin was a little uncomfortable.

Can't blame her aside from talking a little on our groupchat, we rarely talk. But as an introvert myself. I'm an expert.

"I'd offer you guys some food, but as you can see. I don't even have a couch. Let alone food."

I gave a small smile, trying to find a way to liven up the atmosphere and make things less... whatever standing in an empty apartment with nothing to do counts as.

"Oh. Wanna come with me to pick some furniture and decorations? I'll treat you to lunch."

This was rewarded with another smile from the pair, Haerin still visibly uncomfortable, but a little less so. I grabbed a jacket from one of the boxes and threw it over my hoodie.

"Call who you need to, I'll drive us there"

This caused the girls to double take.

"You can drive?"

Danielle seemed shocked. I mean rightly so, from what I've seen, not many idols can or are allowed to drive.

All we heard from Haerin was a quiet.

"와우"

Which was honestly, too cute.

I grabbed a tripod from one of the boxes and clipped the camera to it, guiding the pair to the parking garage where the rental van was waiting, luckily, it was a big one with 2 passenger seats in the front.

The destination was Ikea. I know, how cliche. But the furniture is cost effective and fits together like Lego so I wasn't complaining. Besides, I had bigger plans for some of the other rooms.

We were joined by a member of the girls security detail, who followed in a black sedan.

We arrived in the one familiar place I've seen since arriving here.

First on the agenda. A sofa. I already had one in mind. A light blue four seater with a chaise longue. Pairing it with a grey swivel love seat, which was being delivered tomorrow.

Cushions are a must, an array of white, navy and grey ones, thrown into the shopping cart.
