"The Guizhong Ballista is destroyed," Cloud Retainer spoke, her crane head moving left to right. "We have been left defenseless."

Concerned chatter and murmurs arose. (Y/N) looked up at the sky, the rain softly pattering down on her cheek as she tried to figure out a plan. But her mind was a mess, and her own doubt was starting to weigh down her mind.

"What do we do now?" Ganyu asked, stepping forward. She looked concerned, scared. (Y/N) felt the same but did her best to hide it. She looked over at Ningguang, who was deep in thought. She must have a plan.

"I know what we must do," she said, stepping forward. She looked at everyone, giving everyone a moment to ponder before continuing, "we must sacrifice the Jade Palace."

Silence.

"What?!" Keqing exclaimed, unsure if she heard the Tianquan correctly. "Sacrifice the Jade Palace? What for? One mere slap in the face from this building won't do anything to Osial."

"The Jade Palace has the ability to self-destruct," Ganyu said, catching onto the plan. "But Lady Ningguang, would the explosion be enough to hinder him?"

"That is why we must come together," Ningguang explained. "If we all put our energy into this building, specifically Adeptal energy, we can strengthen the blow of the explosion. We can make it lethal. I would need everyone to participate to ensure we are as powerful as we can get."

"What would happen to us?" One of the Millelith guards asked. "If we're on here when it explodes... wouldn't we be caught up in the aftermath?"

"The Palace will float above Osial," she explained, gesturing to the tentacles. "Out of his reach. After manifesting our energy, the Jade Palace would lose its ability to stay afloat. It would go crashing down onto him, and just before that happens, we will escape. The Adepti, if willing, can help us flee, since they can fly."

"Hmph." The Adepti nodded, seeming reluctant, but not acting on their disapproval.

"I understand," Xiao said, swiping his hand over his face, his mask covering him.

The palace started to move. (Y/N) held her breath, placing her palm flat against the cold surface of the building. She looked up, watching the others do the same.

"Traveler, if you could do the honor," Ningguang said. She nodded, taking out her sword.

When the palace stopped on top of Osial, a blue light emanated from everyone. As Ningguang started bidding the Palace goodbye, the blue light shifted into a bright golden hue, the traveler's one shooting higher into the sky.

"Goodbye, old friend," the Tianquan said before the traveler dug her sword into the concrete ground, causing a slash of radiation to fly in all directions. The ringing was loud, and the Jade Palace became unsteady, shaking and falling apart under their feet. The traveler kept her sword in, grunting slightly. Xiao took (Y/N)'s arm, while the other Adepti kept the others safe. As the palace fell, the Adepti took the others off the surface.
