(Y/N) was an Adeptus. Now that there was peace, she spent her time tending to requests sent from the people of Liyue. Her life was simple now: no more wars, no more fighting, no losses.
And things could almost be considered boring, until one day she...

The two walked side by side in complete silence. Step by step, until there was a differ in movement: with a wave of his hand, he dismissed the recruits behind them, a silent reminder for them to meet him at the bank the following day. The two recruits did not argue and scurried away. She kept a mental note of it, her gaze following them. But perhaps, there might have been more important things to focus on. His azure eyes narrowed in her direction, observing her. After a moment, she halted, deciding to get down to business.
"What do you think you're doing here?" (Y/N) asked. His lips curved. At that sight, the temptation to pull her sword out from her pocket dimension grew tenfold. To see fear etched on his expression instead of the smug smile he wore now would be worth the commotion. However, irrationality was not the best answer, so she forced herself to cross her arms, hand gripping her sleeve tightly.
"Why, I'm simply a Snezhnayan traveler admiring the beauty of Liyue," he grinned, looking down at the Adeptus. The first thought that came to mind when he looked at her was if she was capable enough for a duel. Childe was an eccentric man, especially when it came to his battling desires. He would almost always seek a way to fulfill them. An Adeptus would obviously be a capable fighter, he assumed. So perhaps the woman standing in front of him could become a good victim of his sparring wishes.
His second thought was damn, she's hot. He had heard of the Adeptus before, but assumed she was someone he would never speak to. In his short stay in Liyue so far, he's seen her figure moving about though he never had the chance to see her face-to-face. In confession, he didn't exactly know what was so appealing about her. Maybe it was the fact that she confronted him, or the fact that she simply was beautiful. Childe wouldn't mind getting to know her better, so perhaps one day she could be there to quench other desires...
"What do you want?" (Y/N) insisted, feeling almost disgusted by the way his blue eyes scanned her figure. Her voice snapped him out of his thoughts. He couldn't help but grin once more.
"Why do you assume I want something? What if I'm truly here to enjoy the city?" Childe shot back at her, his eyebrows raising. His hands were pocketed, his posture lazy and laidback. She took his demeanor negatively: that he didn't see her as a threat.
That infuriated (Y/N). She meant business and wouldn't be afraid to squeeze the answers out from his mouth.
She's heard about Childe before, someone who's also known as Tartaglia. He's a vicious, bloodthirsty fighter who would follow every single order the Tsaritsa would give him. He's hopelessly devoted to his cause and loved to spark havoc for it. That's why she was concerned - she didn't want him to be the reason of Liyue's downfall. She didn't want him to disturb the peace.
"Don't test me," she warned. Her fingers twitched, as if they begged to grip onto the handle of her sword. She would kill him, if she had to. She wanted to.
