Today was Tommy's birthday party.
But it was different. He was alone. All alone. Well until Dream came to check on him. "Tommy!! I'm back and I got you some cake!!" Tommy heard Dream yell. "Yay." He said sarcastically. "Oh Tommy please don't be like that" Dream smiled at Tommy, who was sitting on a chair, under his mask.
"Why isn't anyone here Dream? I gave Ghostbur the invites. He was supposed to give them to everyone!" Tommy shouts, anger and sadness in his voice. "Tommy it's gonna be okay. I'm here for you"
Dream paused for a little bit, unsure of what more to say. "I'm always gonna be here for you. We'll be friends forever" Tommy looked at Dream, teary eyed. "You- We- Can't be friends. We will never be friends! You hurt me! You-" Smack. "Shut your trap Thomas. I'm trying to be nice here! I want to be your friend! Your best friend even" He smirked under his mask.
You could see his eyes glow even though his mask. It was a bright neon green. His eyes often seemed poisonous and toxic. "Come on Tommy. You know it's all for your own good. I'm always going to be here. Whether you like it or not. You just have to suck it up!" Dream lifted his mask a little bit, his smirk now visible.
"Dream- I don't want this! You keep on hurting me!" Tommy shouted as he stood up from his chair, now standing next to Dream. "Oh. Do you not understand it's for your. Own. Good damn it?!! Are you really stat stupid?!" Dream shouts at the poor boy who was trembling with fear.
Dream got an idea. He took off his mask, fully, his whole face visible.
"Tommy I'm sorry. I didn't mean to be so mean. I'm sorry little one. You know that I would never hurt you on purpose right? I'm really sorry." Dream looked Tommy in the eyes. Tommy couldn't help but feel bad for making the older feel sad. "I know. I'm sorry Dream. I won't be so rude ever again! I promise to be better and listen! Please don't be sad. I-" He cried. "No Tommy it's okay. I deserved it" "No-! I'm really sorry! Please forgive me!" He pleaded, unaware how the older was trying to manipulate the younger.
"I forgive you"
He succeeded.
