I like to think Tommy has small scars from fighting Techno. One hidden in his hair, one at the back of his neck, mostly hidden by hair if they're not up in a ponytail or something. Some scars over his torso back and arms.
He has scars all over his body but it's all mostly from Dream and wars.
Also I think Tommy looks up to Techno even after all the betrayal and shit. And also when he looks in the mirror, he doesn't see Dreams puppet. But himself. Tommy. The boy who lived.
