Distraction.

There's a static over my eyes.

A disturbance in my vision.

"I can see fairies everywhere."

Dazed and dazzled by thousands of little dots fizzing.

"I can see the energy, the atmosphere."

Mad, I sounded mad as I tried to explain.

"I get terrible migraines and I can't stand the lights" No explanation is good enough.

The cars ebb and weave through the streets, headlights gems refracting.

I'm distracted again. I push my fingers into my eyes and I see the world I used to retreat to.

Kaleidoscope daydream.

Sparkles erupt, breathing new life. Setting the world on fire...I'm not supposed see the atoms.
