Fantasia's POV

"An accident right off of Boston Road happen late last night, we are doing our best to discover the times and who these victims are," a news reporter on channel 6 spoke of the accident at 4:30am.

I didn't sleep all night. Constantly checking news outlets. Dallas slept in Taraji's bed. I laid in her bed too. Her sheets smelled just like her. I tried not to stain her sheets with my tears. Terrence left with Puma, he said it'd be safer if he wasn't around for now. I understood and didn't ask any further questions.

She's smart and she's hood, I know that she found a way to live.

The door to Taraji's room opened. Somebody peeked their head through. My heart pumped. I thought I was mistaken.

"Taraji?" My voice peeked through the silence , I stood up from the bed. "God please let her be alive,"

"No, no it's me, Jussie," he whispered.

Disappointment sat on my soul.

"Hey I have good news, walk with me I don't want to wake Dallas up," he grabbed my hands and we walked downstairs.

"What happened?"

We sat on the couch.

"She's alive," he held both of my hands.

"Jussie how do you know?" I searched in his eyes that looked so much like his mother's.

"Because I know my mother, and the news said that they've only found one body, the one in the car behind her. She did it to save you, you know,"

"I know," I nodded

"You know she loves you right?"

"I know that too," I smiled

"When she first started catching feelings she did everything she could to push them away. That's what I told her to do since you were married and all but she could not resist you,"

"I'm sorry for causing her so much stress with all of my indecisiveness,"

"It's okay," he laughed, "she's just been alone for so long you know? Seeing her in love is so different. I mean you can see it,"

I played with my hands.

"Thank you for loving her," he continued

"Always,"

"Now she's going to be gone for a little bit, I know she's probably going to wait a few weeks maybe months until everything cools down. So please don't go off looking for her, I'll clear things up with Oprah and let her know she probably won't be able to make half of the interviews," he explained.

My soul fainted into sadness once again.

"Hey it's okay, she'll be back," he assured me

"I know, but one minute without her feels like forever to me," I sighed.

"Just keep yourself and your family safe. I'm sorry that I had to meet you under these circumstances, I've been wanting to meet you for a while now though,"
