Chapter 18.

Fantasia's POV

Another day of the same conversation. I've been trying to work on my music in the home studio. Me and Taraji haven't been chatting as much as I'd hope, she's busy with a ton of things at home so she says and it's the same thing here.

"Kendall, I'm not arguing with you about this," I rolled my eyes. Walking into the kitchen.

"I don't even get a say? My opinion doesn't matter?"

"You lost that privilege the day I caught you fucking that bitch in my house," I put my finger to his chest.

"Fantasia I thought that we were going to work this out," he grabbed my hands. "The kids-"

"Zion already knows and agrees. I already had that conversation with her, we need to sit and talk to Dallas,"

"Zion knows? How does she know?"

"She knew before me Kendall. She knew for a long time is what she said,"

"One more try," he looked in my eyes. He pleaded.

"Kendall I can't, you have to understand. We grew up together but now we're growing apart. You love someone else, I love someone else. What's the point?"

"The point is that you're the only stable thing in my life right now, you always have been,"

"I can't be that for you anymore,"

He covered his mouth.
"I don't want this to be something that it doesn't have to be,"

"And what do you mean by that?" I raised my eyebrow. "Are you threatening me? You think threatening me will be what makes me want to stay with you?"

"I will run you for everything you're worth through this divorce, I'll take the house , the cars , the money and Dallas and I'll make sure that you go through hell,"

I laughed. "Get the fuck out of my house," his threats didn't scare me. "My name is on the lease , my name is on both cars. You don't have shit without me Kendall,"

"I'll get full custody of Dallas," he grabbed his keys.

"You better leave my son out of this!" I yelled before he slammed the door. I grabbed my keys as well jumping into my car. I raced to Dallas' school. The threat of losing him made me feel sick.

I walked into the schools office speaking to the secretary.

"I'm here today so that i can dismiss Dallas for the rest of day,"

"Oh I'm sorry ma'am, around 5 minutes ago Kendall Taylor came to do that for you. He said that you usually do but you've been stressing," she frowned. "I hope that was helpful,"

"Well thank you!" I scurried off from the office. My heart pounding.

Once i got into my car my hands started shaking, my throat began to close.

"Breathe, breathe, breathe," I wiped the sweat from my forehead forcing myself to relax. I called Kendall. I called him over 10 times.

Then i called Zion. I tried to keep my breathing in control.
"Hi honey,"

"Hey mom you okay?"
