Danniel Hayes or Danny as I call him is my next door neighbor.

He moved in few months after me and we got along very well.

He is a very good guy. I have known him for like three years now and we are actually very good friends.

He tried to make a move on me but I politely turn him down because I was so busy raising my son that I didn't have time for a relationship.

And despite the fact that I turned him down, there were never awkwardness between us. Danny made it clear that it's okay and that he understands.

Though he insisted on waiting for me, I've never think of him anything other than a friend. There is absolutely nothing wrong with him it's just me who is not ready.

If I could be up for a relationship, Danny would be the ideal boyfriend because he is everything any girl could ask.

For a start, he is cute. Brown eyes, brown hair and tall maybe not as tall as six seven feet but he is still a few inches taller than me. Also he is muscular, just a little bit but he is still fine.

Also he is kind and real. Other guys tried to date me but after I told them that I have got a kid they practically run but that wasn't the case with Danny.

He likes Ethan a lot and spend his time to play with him whenever he is not working.

Though Ethan is not very 'fond' of Danny that never discourage him, he would always buy him some car toys to win his heart and he would somehow succeed.

My kid is obsessed with car toys—like very obsessed, I can see him as grown up with collection of cars in his house.
Just Motherly intuition

"What are you doing here!?" I ask Danny as he walks to us.

"I work here" he says casually and I frown.

"You're a teacher!?" I ask surprised "I never knew that"

He chuckles, "That's because I've recently got the job"

"Really!..and the coffee shop?" I ask referring to his previous job, I've known him working in a coffee shop for a while and everyday he would make sure to bring me my favorite coffee, Brown Sugar Iced Caramel Lattes.

My mouth is watering already

"I still work there-" he puts his hands in his pockets and shrugs "extra time"

"Oh"

"Yes...I see that you've brought Ethan" He glances at my son who is in my arms

"Yeah..his first day" I state proudly.

"What a coincidence.. I happen to teach baby class"

"Really?" Ethan is in safe hands then

"Mhm...looks like we are stuck together little dude" he says enthusiastically but my son doesn't share his excitement as he hides his face into the crook of my neck.
