"Wow" Bryson mutters softly while as Caden let out a prolonged sigh.

We are in my house and I've revealed to them that Skylar is the girl from four years ago.

I have known these two my whole life. They were the closest thing to family since I never had one. To confide with them about this turn of event is certain because they were there when I messed up and they never left me. They even tried to pull me back together when I was broken.

"Fate is a bitch" Bryson comments. I remain quite but somehow concur with him.

Yeah, fate is a bitch.

To think of how Skylar came to my life, how she was constant invading my mind, mysteriously. How I came to know the truth about her, about our son.

It's like something was pulling us together. First I had come to Seattle, buy the company she had been working in and meet her. Then she had to become my PA after I had fired the former.

And that day when she received a call about Ethan and I offered to take her to the hospital. And to think of how I didn't hesitate to be the blood donor to Ethan, unaware that he's mine....

Fuck, fate is indeed a bitch.

A bitch who turned my cursed life into a blessing.

"So you and Skylar-"

"She's mine" Bryson start but I cut him off. I know I'm being possessive but can't help it. It's how I feel and I absolutely have no control over it.

He holds his hands up. "Alright Alpha male, she's all yours"

Indeed.

"Are you going to tell Lucas?" Caden asks and I shake my head.

"There's nothing to tell him"

"You won't tell him that you have a son?" He rose a incredulous brow.

Lucas would be delighted to hear that I have a son. Since I took over his companies, he'd been insisting that I should sire a child to have the heir for the Harrington's Inc's and that he'd be at peace when I'd finally fulfill that.

Given the awful relationship I have with that man, I find it hard to reveal to him about Ethan. I haven't tell him and I don't think I will—at least not any time soon.

"I won't" My answer is clipped.

"So when are we going to meet uh..your son Man I still can't believe you're a dad" Bryson says.

"You already met him" I answer, taking a sip of wine. They have puzzle look on their faces so I point Bryson with my glass. "At the grocery store"

His brows come together and then his eyes widen with realization.

"That kid!?" I nod. "Fuck, how? Damn so I was right" He exclaims before say "Still, we need to officially meet him"

"I'll think about it"
