Dianna
"Who's James?" I ask walking down the stairs.

"Me" a tall and muscular boy said from behind me and I turned my head to look at him, raising an eyebrow.
He was very handsome, I'd never seen him before.
"Cool" I said turning away then I mouthed Oh my god to myself looking at the floor.
He was huge. I'd say like 6 foot 4 with huge muscles, sandy brown hair and really cute glasses with the most stunning green eyes.

Wait James... that sounds really freaking familiar...

James as in my caregiver janes, aka the one I was actively trying to avoid.

We started getting closer to the room I was supposed to be in but we got to Taylor's and toney's room first which meant it was just me and James walking to my class.

I turned to look back at him and he was looking at his schedule then looking at the doors.

"What room are u in?" I said not looking at him.

"Uh...chemistry C28 What about you? He asked, now walking next to me.

"Same as you."
Damn you fate

"Oh grate." he said stuffing his schedule back into his pocket with a smile.

I turned the corner to see the entrance to the class and sped up to it before stopping and leaning on the doorway.

I could feel James stood behind me but chose to ignore him.

"Hey mister Kay." I said giving him a little wave.

"Hay Dee. Nice to see you showed up today" he says looking at me.
Mister Kay is my favourite teacher, mostly cause he lets me hid in her when the guidance counsellor comes looking for me.
"Don't get too used to it" I say in my casual cheeky tone.

"You and your friend. Middle row second table." Mister Kay said pointing to a desk.

I huffed heading to my seat and I could hear Jameses steps behind me and he made his way to the seat next to mine.

"Right today is-" I basically toned mister Kay out in seconds as I put my head on the desk and let my thoughts wonder around.
later I felt a hand on my waist and  it started to gently shake me a bit enough to make me lift my head up and rest my chin on my arms and look to see where the hand was coming from.

I looked to my left to see James giving me a look that I'm guessing probably meant sit up and pay attention but it only made me want to ram my head into the table over and over.
This is why I dreaded my birthday, I was already getting told what to do.

Janes brought his face down to rest on his arms like me so he was closer my ear and whispered to me "sit up properly and listen please " He said, nudging me with his elbow

"Why? He's only gonna blabber on about the topics he's teaching for the next 9 months" I say, putting my head back down but this time to the side so I could see James.

"the lesson is basically nearly over and nobody else is paying attention either " I said looking at the clock realising that I had been day dreaming for about 40 minutes.

I expected James would continue to get me to listen but then he asked "What's your favourite colour?" out of the blue
"What?" I said, confused, kinda glad I wasn't going to need to argue.
"I asked you what your favourite colour is."
"Pink" I said quietly, "but the light kind, not to loud. what about you?"
"Mines blue, but not like sky blue, like deep ocean blue." James said with a smile.

I could get used to his smile.
