Let ego go

As a human being we are meant to grow and evolve,

In the true selves of us, understanding who really we are.

But in our current society, we have become

Excessively self centered and egoistic,

Leading our own selves to overlook our own mistakes and flaws.

But doesn't that affect us eventually in the long run?

We loose a chance to become a better and wise person,

We miss the valuable opportunity for personal growth,

We let ourselves get fooled by the fake validation,

By ignoring and refusing to acknowledge our own wrong deeds.

Accepting our imperfections is an essential part,

To reclaim our authentic selves,

To grow in from both internally and externally,

To own over ourselves from within our soul,

For perfectionism is fake and our imperfections make us perfect.

To reach our full potential, we must

Learn to let go our ego and accept ourselves when we are wrong,

Understand that making mistakes is a natural part,

But we should rather embrace humility and acknowledge them,

To learn and grow, for becoming better versions of ourselves.
