"Something is seriously wrong with you, Kingston."He ignored my words, his eyes remained focused on the road, the road was taking us to the furthest beach I once visited with the kids. well, a few times actually, when I felt stable enough to spend time with them I picked the beach as our hangout spot, I wondered if he knew about it somehow since he apparantly followed our every move.

It didnt matter actually, wherever he took me, It still wouldn't change the fact that he was alive all this time and allowed us to think he was gone forever, I wish it was easy to forget, but hey, if it was therapy wouldn't exist.

As if I haven't been to enough of it these years.

My arms folded across my chest, I glanced at him every once and awhile, taking in his features that I craved to touch and see for years. He was beautiful, no doubt in that, but his personality was questionable, especially the opening up about how he felt part, other than that he was the dream man to a lot of women, that fact still sparked a light of jealousy in my chest for some reason.

His soul was my comfort though, even after everything that happened I was fighting the urge to wrap my arms around his neck and inhale his strong scent. It was harder than hard to be around him without speaking civilly.

I haven't gotten a chance to tell the kids I went outside either, we bumped into Nasius on our way to the car and all he did was smile, he was definitely in on all the nonsense that Kingston had planned.

"We are going to the beach."He said, breaking the silence.

"Why? You are acting as if the beach will help our situation, and you said none of us are allowed to walk out of the house for safety reason-we are literally outside."

"We are in the car, not outside."By the tone of his voice he meant it as a teasing joke, but wouldn't let it show on his face. We drove for half and hour without anyone saying a word, it was silence between us, the road, faint sounds of the radio station, and the beautiful gray sky above us, everything was magical, except the company.

"Kingston, we have kids we need to protect, I don't want to go to the beach and play mermaid."

"Neither do I, beautiful, but you left me with no other choice but to take you in the middle of nowhere so you can finally listen to me."

I scoffed and rubbed my aching neck, I fought back the tears of frustration as much as I could, the only thing on my mind was hitting him over the head with my phone. I plotted my escape and in that moment when the road cleared, my plan actually made sense, it was no secret that I had no fear of jumping out of a moving car, the entire family knew about that talent of mine, sadly, he was well aware of it too, which is why he locked the doors as soon as we sat in the car.

Maybe there is still a way out...

"Dont even think about it, Adelaine."He muttered.

"What?"

He smirked."Dont even think about jumping out, the door is locked and the road is full of rocks, you'll injure yourself and I'll have to save you again, besides we are five minutes  away from the beach, sit tight for a bit more."

Again? Idiot.

"I dont want to be near you, why is it so hard to understand?'

"Because you dont mean it, I know it  and so do you, so please sit and be quiet for a few more minutes."

I crossed my arms across my chest and looked out the window. I dont want to look at him, think of him, speak to him or be around him, annoying cow.

"Were you really going to date that guy"He asked out of nowhere, and I stayed silent.
