I learnt one thing and one thing only, the touch from someone you loved and admired was the only thing that was able to heal you from the agonies of you mind, I mean I always knew it, but it's been years since i last experienced sincere affection, but I loved every second of it.

We stayed on the beach for about two hours, we hugged and kissed each second of that time like we were two deprived teenagers, our lips came together like magnets each time we pulled away and every kiss was better than the one before it. The best part about it was that she wanted it as much as I did, the want and the need was more than visible in her eyes, It was beyond perfect.

I had so much to tell her, everything she already knew was just the surface of the entire situation, but that part didn't matter as much as the part where we kissed again, that was the event of the day.

"We should get going, the kids will be worried." She whispered and clinged onto me tighter.

"We will but before we do that, are you still angry at me for everything that happened?"I asked, God knew I hoped for the best.

She looked up with her puppy eyes and smiled. "Of course i am, but I'm learning to accept it, I gave it some thought and realized you had no other choice. Now don't get it twisted though, I still feel torn when I remember it, it was one of the hardest things i had to face in that period so I hope you don't expect me to act like it never happened just because I gave in now."I cupped her face with my hands and my lips met hers.

"Of course not, beautiful, I don't expect that, as long as you are wiling to give me a chance as small as the grain of rice, I'm the happiest man on the planet."

She smiled against my lips then pulled away."Good, because Kingston Russo, I will make you work for it."

My heart swelled at her words, working hard for her love was a dream come true, it was like the golden ticket, and winning her all over again was the prize,

"Come on Russo boy, let's go home."

Home, was it the house or the person, because if you had that person that made you feel like the entire Galaxy swayed in your chest, any place or house you walked in was already made into a home by their presence, that was my Adelaine to me.

She was the woman that made me happy, and the woman that made me sad, she was my angel, a blessing in disguise.

I drove us back to the house faster than it took us to get to the beach, probably because I rushed to tell the kids their mother had finally given me a second chance to make things right, my smile grew bigger each time i remembered it, and I sure as hell silently thanked God for getting her to forgive me.

"So Russo." she called out silently.

"Now that we are slowly getting everything settled, you should visit your mom and tell her about everything that happened to you, she was the only person that had it worse than me, and your father prohibited any one of us talking about you in front of her, she also refused to see her grandkids because they reminded her of you, especially Evander."

I nodded in agreement, I didn't ask too much about my mother when I was absent, my father told me that he had it all under control , what turned out to be false after all.

"I'll speak to her tonight, she's the only person that doesn't know I'm back. You should invite everyone to dinner tonight, we can tell her then, I'm just worried about her reaction."

"She will definitely be shocked, she will probably think the medication is making her see things."

I frowned and glanced at her for a second."What medication?"
