Was the entire situation not my fault...of course it was, is it only logical for me to put a stop to all this. Yes.

"Absolutely not, Adelaine, are you out of your mind?"

"No. but i'm going to be if all this keeps continuing, I don't have energy for this, it's all happening because of me, and I want to be the one to put a stop to it."

She rubbed his eyes and walked up to me.

"You did nothing wrong, okay?"He said, cupping my face with his cold hands.

"I am doing it, Kingston, whether you like it or not."He dropped his hands to his side and shook his head.

"Never, im not letting you go anywhere near him, he was crazy enough to break in and give you a sleeping sedative, he would too worse if you go to him all alone, you're falling right into his traps, Adelaine."

I rolled my eyes at him, not seeing the big deal behind it.''Okay, lets say i do walk right into his trap, why would that be bad if we can use it, while he is busy galloping around me, you two can do whatever you want, track him, watch him, beat him, whatever.''

''I said no.''He replied sternly.

''I said i am, i lost you twice in the past where you said you'll be back in a few days and then disappeared for years, and i'm not letting my kids grow up without their father again.''

''Do you want them to grow to without a mother?''I shook my head, tightening the blanket around my body.

''No, they wont, he'd never hurt me, he wants me all for himself. Why would he harm me in any way if he spent all this time trying to get me?''

''Because he is insane.''

''Because he is insane.''Nasius and him said, at the same time.

''I know he is, but he is insane for me, he wouldn't hurt me, you'll see.''I turned and made my way into the kitchen, hearing him groaning before following me inside.

''Baby, if you don't listen to me and trust me when I say it's dangerous...i'll have to lock you in the basement." I stop in my tracks and turn around, his chest hits mine and his arms wrap around my waist.

''Why wont you listen to me, huh?''

''No, Kingston, why won't you listen to ME?''

He smirks, leaning in and planting a kiss on the hollow of my neck.''As stubborn as you are, I am not letting you step foot out of this house unless it's with me, I will handle everything, if I need help, you'll be the first one ill come to.''

I turn my head away in attempt to resist his gentle kisses, but as always, I fail miserably.

I dropped the blanket on the floor and wrapped my hands around his neck, keeping a straight face as his lips traveled from my crook of my neck to my jawline.

''Don't bother, Kingston, ill still do what I want, ill run away and handle this myself.''

He stopped and looked at me with lust in his eyes.

''If you run, ill chase you, if I chase you. ill catch you, and when I catch you,"He paused, leaning in.

''I will show you the amount of tension all those years of waiting have done to me.''

My breath hitched in my throat, I licked my lips nervously and pulled away.

''Whatever, I'm still doing what I want.''

''You are putting yourself at risk and I'll die before I allow that.''I ignore him, grabbing the blanket off the floor and wrapping it around myself.

"You should have thought of that before you ditched me and the kids."

The words slip out of my lips before I could catch them, regret washing over me a second later. Truth hurts, sometimes more than a white lie, yet I can't help but to keep that hurt away from him, even though he was the cause of mine.

"I'm sorry, that was out of line."

"No,"He shakes his head."That was well deserved."

I sigh, dropping the blanket on the ground before opening my arms towards him.

"Come."

He doesn't hesitate. He walks up to me and wraps his hands around my waste, using minimal strength in his grip, not enough to make me feel restricted, just enough to make me feel the familiar safety of his embrace.

"Don't fight me on this anymore, baby, deal? I will come to you if I change my mind, until then I want you to be in the house with the kids , safe and sound."

No way in hell.

I bite my lip, my face nuzzled in the crook of his tatted neck."I promise I will stay here with the kids."

Until you and everyone else falls asleep.

                                                      ............................................................

I hate feeling trapped and powerless, don't you? Or am I the only one that has to look a rule in its eyes and break it with a passion?

Staying in this house with the attention span of a fly, waiting for some news on brother-in-law dearest might be a form of self harm, adding a thousand security cameras on every wall you look, Nasius and Kingston invading my personal space like toddlers with social anxiety only adds to the sense of restriction I hate with my entire being.

So, what do you do when you feel like there's too many eyes on you, too many laws and too many rules? You break them when no one's looking.

I crack my knuckles, eyeing the security system's computers in determination.

The security room is located in the corner of a nicely renovated basement with sound proof walls and surprisingly-no security cameras, which means Kingston can't be notified about me being here. As for the rest of the cameras in the house, I turned them off from his phone, the ones I cannot control from there are the outside ones, the only way to turn them off is through the computer.

I know I promised Kingston earlier today that I will stay out of it. The truth is, I mumbled the ed of that sentence ad he didn't hear it, so who is really to blame for that? He is, of course.

"Enter password."I read the words on the screen, my fingers trembling over the lit up keyboard.

"Nasius set this computer up, meaning the password would have to be something ridiculous."

What does Nasius love more than anything in the world? Himself.

A smile forms on my lips as I remember the speech he gave me after I bought my laptop a few weeks ago.

"For a password to be hard to guess you need three things: a meaningful date or number, a nickname you love, and your favorite food you never told anyone it was your favorite?"

"Got it."I straighten up before typing,  remembering the subtle hits he was throwing when helping me come up with my own password.

"Nasius.bighammer3.0.pudding."

Big, green letters light up the screen. Password correct.

"Seriously? You weirdo."I mumble under my breath.

The screen turns black then white, several small frames appear on it, showing the entire backyard  and entrance.

"Finally."

"Finally indeed."
