Chapter 3: Rainy Day

—Kyle pov—

"I had fun." I said, walking out of the ice cream shop with aph.

"Same!" She said smiling.

I noticed it was heavily raining outside so I handed her an umbrella.

"Oh thanks!" She said, blushing slightly.

I then waved to her as I walked into the rain.

I coughed as I walked inside, my face and nose red.

"Kyle, did you walk home without an umbrella again," isla said, giving me some new clothes and drying my hair off.

"I gave my umbrella to aph." I said, embarrassed.

"Oh deer." She said, facepalming herself.

—Aph pov—

I got home and put Kyle's umbrella in the doorway.

"Robin, I'm home!" I said, coming in to see him play video games.

"Hi, welcome home." He said, hugging me.

"I'm going to my room, call me if you need something." I said, tripping up the stairs, stubbing my toe. "Owwww" I yelled, my toe hurting like hell.

Robin chuckled and I headed upstairs.

I decided to write in my diary.

Dear diary;

I think I do have a chance with Kyle. At least more than stupid Derek, trying to steal him from me. Derek's only known him for a year while I've known him for 5 years.

I hope Axure is doing ok. She got suspended for slapping a bitch. I miss her a lot. I do have a new friend though, her name is Jackie. She likes Derek but I'm too worried to tell her he's gay. I wonder if Kyle notices Derek likes him.

Axure pov

"Hey grandma, could we go clothes shopping?" I asked, hoping she'd say yes.

"Sure sweetie!" She said, "I'll drive you to the mall."

When we got there, I got a mask, some longer shirts, and some jeans.

"This is a new style, are you sure you want this?" She asked me.

I nodded and she paid for it. When I go back to school tomorrow I'll wear this.

I decided to call Jay and Charles when I saw a name I didn't recognize. "Who is Isla?" I thought, deleting the number.

"Hey Jay." I said, talking on the phone.

"Hey axure. I saw the clothes you are gonna wear tomorrow. You'll look great." He said with a smile.

"Thanks." I said when Charles joined the call.

Eventually we all had to go so I signed off for the night.
