Chapter 24: Demonic Affairs

—Snow pov—

"So you're going against the demon tonight?" I asked Alexis and Juno on our double date.

"Yep! We know how to be safe." Alexis said, smiling at me.

"Are you worried?" Juno asked, making me feel more worried.

"No, I'm sure you guys will be ok, like you said." I said, smiling.

"Ok... if you say so." Juno said, not convinced.

"What's with your red look?" Alexis asked me, since I had honestly forgotten. I explained the posession thing and the bloody eyes.

"It will probably go away once we kill it." Juno said, confidently.

Alexis and I chuckled and kept talking as Juno was being a goofball. Alexis made that his nickname.

—Hani pov—

"I'm not ready for demonic shittttttt" I whined to reiko, who practiced.

"Well it's now or never." She says, rolling her eyes as a joke.

"I choose neverrrrrr." I complain.

"I'll spoil you so much once we beat this dumbass demon." Reiko said, making me smile and jump like a little girl in a candy store.

"Now that's the spirit!" She said.

"Hey Yui and Katsumi!" I said, smiling.

They had met us to train, since each side of the guardians had one side. This side has Juno, Yui, Katsumi, Ichine, Tsuki, reiko, and I. The other side has Azumi, Nishi, sai, Umi, Alexis, and Maru.

Eventually, everyone got here and we could start.

—Kyle pov—

"Why are you still ignoring me?" I asked Derek, who passed me.

"Because I like you ok!" He said as he ran off.

It all now made sense. He liked me, that's why he didn't get with Jackie who obviously liked him, and I just left and got with Aphrodite like that because I like her back. Not saying I don't like Derek, I just like him as a friend instead of a lover. But he didn't understand and thought I was into him, so when he finally realized I'm with Aphrodite, he freaked out and started ignoring me again, even though I ignored him and he got mad.

I found him and explained that I'm with Aphrodite and I'm straight.

"I'm so sorry!" He cried and violently hugged me. I hope he's happy with someone else and can find them. So he can get the love he needs and deserves

"It's ok." I chuckled and we fell on the floor, both laughing like old times, he would always be my best friend.
