Chapter 13: The Battle

—Snow pov—

"Well well well" xia said, taunting me. "Look who decided to show up."

"Shut up xia. Leave me be." i said, trying to ignore her.

"Well your little puny ice powers won't help you." she taunted.

"I challenge you to a fucking duel then" I said, putting my hand on my hip.

"Fine." Xia said, scoffing and drinking out of her Stanley cup.

After school, we prepared to fight. I had lied to her, Bella, and Kade. I'm 100% elf.

I had made a staff made of snow and ice for the battle, and Xia had many teleportation machines.

We dodged attacks swiftly for a while until I had backed her into the edge. She teleported behind me but I used my staff to fling her off the edge. She was gone now.

—Yui pov—

I realized I hadn't seen myself in the future, or anything to do with me for that matter, so I decided to visit.

"Hi opal." I said, greeting her.

"Hello." She said with a smile.

"Mom! I missed you a lot!!" Savannah said, hugging me.

"Hi Azumi." Tsuki said, turning my attention to see Azumi from my timeline.

"Wh-what are you doing here!" I said embarrassed.

"I followed you, and I'm in the future, some girl named Opal let me in." She said, shrugging.

"You could have gotten lost!" I said hugging her. "Now onto why I'm here."

"Go ahead." Tsuki said.

"Where am I- or- well future me." I stammered.

"You di-"

"On a business trip!" Tsuki said, interrupting Savannah.

"Oh ok," I said, nodding. I turned to leave with Azumi when Savannah blurted out something.

"You died, mom."

"Savannah!" Tsuki scolded her." Go to your room."

"I'm sorry mommy," She said.

"Why would you lie?" I asked.

"Because you wouldn't have wanted to know you left us too early." Tsuki said, tears rolling down her face.

"Thank you." I said, taking my leave.

"What was that?" Azumi asked, seeing me come to the door.

"Nothing important." I said, fake smiling.

Azumi met and talked to opal, opal not mentioning Maru which I still found suspicious.
