Chapter 16 Years of Search
Ten years passed, and May Parker moved to California per the request of Pepper. May never stopped searching for her nephew and something told her that he would come West.
Two years ago, May ran into Michelle in San Francisco. Turns out she now works for Pymtech. Michelle had no idea who May or Peter were, it was like Peter never existed.
May was walking around Stark main office, when a young man bumped into her. "Oh, God, I'm so sorry." May blurted out, trying to get up.
The man offered his hand and as May met his eyes the man's brown eyes sparkled with curiosity. "I hope you don't take this the wrong way," he starts, "but you look very familiar. Have we met?"
May stood there shocked this man spent countless dinners with her and her nephew, "Ned."
"Um..." Ned sighs, "yes, you must be Mrs. Potts's secretary."
May looked at the boy, "Ned, it's me. May, Peter's aunt. Please tell me you know where he is."
"I'm sorry," Ned apologized, "I am looking for Mrs. Potts' office."
May points him to a door, "Through that door."
As Ned walked away, May became aware that someone was watching her, but saw no one. She dismissed it and walked off.
Behind the column was a 28-year-old Peter Parker sighs, he misses his friends and aunt, but they seem happy.
